No: Because its power comes from having a lot of burning cards in the game before it's played. Being a fairly situational rare, I like it.

It's also worth noting that your opponent has plenty of time to discard it in most situations. If it's summoned with the Phoenix feather in a hidden game, it's very easy to tell where it is on hand (and that the card didn't give a gems gain), and you know it's not going to be played until more Burning cards exist. I once waited for my opponent to have the necessary gems to play it before discarding it with Elemental storm in a Hidden game.

With a flare (or burning Token effect) seems easy enough.

+1 for Rebirth being discardable by banish.

Phoenix is the most OP card in game. You don't even need to have a Burning deck to play it effectively.

There was already a discussion about Rebirth being discardable by Banish, but I haven't decided yet if such change will be implemented. We have only two Rebirth cards, so I may re-analyze such change.

to some extent, yes.

Burning token (or only flare keyword) cannot replace aqua with searing flames. Or some aqua cards like water gate can discard highest rarity burning. Or aqua keyword trigger can discard same rarity burning.

Or simply some anti-burning concept aqua cards.

Or perhaps Aqua could reduce Burning tokens without changing what's in the opponent's hand.
