Can something besides damage be put into the "Enduring" keyword slot? For example, Enduring(Wall +5).
Mojko on 08:01, 3. Apr, 2010
No. But we could create a new keyword which could have similar mechanic, but different effect.
jbryant3 on 16:33, 3. Apr, 2010
Well, can we not tweak Enduring to do whatever is in the parentheses? I don't see a point in making another keyword if we don't have to.
Mojko on 17:38, 3. Apr, 2010
Our system doesn't support such a thing. A keyword with a parameter can only have a simple number next to it.

Then I propose a new keyword:
Lasting(): This does whatever is in the parenthesis.

For example:
Lasting(stock +3) would give a stock +3 when the same card is played again (what would trigger Enduring).

This is to allow greater flexibility.

Or, if one keyword can't be created to accomodate for all of these effects, we could create different ones per effect:
Fortify(): for wall (and tower?) increases
Create(): for stock
Crush(): for specified damage to wall and/or tower
Destroy(): for eliminating enemy stock
Steal(): for stealing enemy stock

Current system supports only specific effects, Lasting() is not implementable.

too many keywords, and most of these effects are achieved through other keywords, mostly via a token's system. e.g. aqua = fortify, crush = beast/barbarian, destroy = destruction/brigand, steal = brigand, create=alliance/mage/soldier/unliving.

Most of those keywords would also be too powerful to be implemented as keywords in more than 1 card. Therefore using the Durable keyword is the best solution to keep all these keywords in one keyword.

Some of the Enduring alternatives can be fun, I think.
