I think that this card should allow drawn of rares like standard draw for both players.
Fithz Hood on 20:58, 14. Jan, 2012
I'm not sure it works as intended: when opponent has only rares the card doesn't discard any card in player's hand. I think that if I have non-rare in hand tribute should discard them regardless of what enemy have

Yes, it's strange. For some reason it's explicitly coded to work that way o_O
DPsycho on 22:16, 14. Jan, 2012
I believe I recall it being worded that way way, way back.

Yeah, I think it and Black market were supposed to work by affecting cross-positioned cards? Probably holdover code from that.

I just recognized, when I play this card, only 2 cards from my deck will be discarded, not 3. Is this intended?
Mojko on 06:58, 3. Apr, 2012
It's actually more complicated than that, but the issue will be fixed in the upcoming update (scheduled on 7.4.2012).

This happens when one of the 3 cards to be discarded, happens on the slot from where you played Tribute. I always assumed it works as designed there.
Mojko on 14:40, 14. Apr, 2012
It now ignores the played card position.

I though "up to 3 cards" meant 3 cards or less

It is so. Notice that you do not have to have 3 cards that are valid targets for Tribute. In such cases less than 3 cards are targeted.
huwok on 14:13, 17. Apr, 2012
yea ok now i get it. but i though it was like it targets 0-3 cards and then, if discardable, they were discarded. nevermind thanks :)
