Legend:
I don't find the new change to be very useful. Sure it can give you a good production rate for one round, but so can many restoration cards, and also most secondary effects on Legend cards already give you a production boost, therefore the current keyword effect is a bit redundant in my oppinion. The facility increase was much better since it gave you a more long-term effect on your resources which could make you able resist brigand decks more effectively. Without the previous keyword effect, the Legend keyword is not much worth having it in my deck.

Alliance:
The effect that gives now gems production increase is again useless in my oppinion. We currently have 3 keywords that result in almost the same effect: Mage, Alliance and Rebirth. It would be better if the previous effect was restored, as it gave an overall resource increase which meant you could use this deck to achieve resource accumulation victory. The current effect just makes it good to combine it with Mage decks, which can pretty much sustain themselves in gem accumulation, or combine it with Burning decks, which already have the Rebirth keyword as a supporting keyword and can have massive gem accumulation, and it's far better to combine them with Mage decks instead (much more catastrophic, higher gem increase)

Anyway, this is just my opinion, I might be wrong but I really think changes in these keywords are unnecessary.
jbryant3 on 06:56, 18. Feb, 2010
I totally agree that Alliance should be changed back to its previous state.

As for legend, I think it should be somewhere in between the last two modifications. I suggest making it lowest facility +1 and lowest facility production x2 (basically merchant ship). That seems a fair compromise between all facilities +1 (like before which was too strong) and the new production bonus (which is too weak).
Chrone on 07:03, 18. Feb, 2010
Alliance keyword suffered a major nerf when token gain was severly reduced, but now it is completely, totally useless.

And, for god's sake, please replace that ugly BB-code icons with text-buttons.
Mojko on 08:12, 18. Feb, 2010
Legends were too strong, it was necessary. Alliance effect is weaker now, but I raised their token gains. I'll be monitoring these two keywords closely and if it proves too weak, I'll do readjustments.

Xpoh if you dislike the BBcode icons, you are free to suggest icons you prefer.
Chrone on 11:38, 18. Feb, 2010
Fixed-image icons will not match with all styles.
I proposed text-buttons, like [Games] one at the top of the screen. [B], [I], [url] and [q].[/url]
Lord Ornlu on 12:52, 18. Feb, 2010
yes jbryant3 is right. Perhaps make the Legend keyword to give you +1 lowest facility in case there's a rare in hand, otherwise X3 production
Noak on 14:58, 18. Feb, 2010
I don't think the legend change makes them all that bad, considering having a Moonlight unicorn in a mage deck where you could easily have 5-7 magic, activate its effect and you get x12 gems production which makes you gain gems for playing a strong swift uncommon (even with 3 magic)

In my opinion facilities is almost always overrated anyway and almost never worth their cost
Progressor on 20:44, 18. Feb, 2010
The legend change is probably quite ok, though it might be ok if the difference in production is a lil higher then 1. As it is now it isn't very likely Id wait for a rare.

As for Alliance:
It is now comepletely incoherent with it's own strategy, since alliance mainly needs recruits. If it needed ballancing, Id sugest changing the token gain to that of the Undead or something, but not giving it a bonus the keyword itsself doesn't really use. (If it would've been recruits it would have been slightly more ok...)
Or is the intention to degrade Alliance to be Mage's minion?

I think the Legend nerf could have been much more brutal than it actually was. Speaking as someone who favoured a legend deck for a long time, the legend keyword was overpowered (or at least, it was certainly overpowered when compared to the cost of other facility-raising cards). The change isn't a straight-up weakening - in some situations it will be worse, and in some it will be better. I'll still use legends, and I'm definitely not for complaining.

As for the BBCode buttons, I just picked the first ones I found as placeholders more than anything. Like Mojko said, if you don't like them, making a new thread in Suggestions would be the best way to help. I would be fine with using text-based buttons rather than image-based.
Mojko on 11:42, 19. Feb, 2010
BBcode buttons has been improved, so please hit F5 to apply the changes.
Chrone on 11:45, 19. Feb, 2010
I resembles small L, but i like them now.
Myschly on 16:51, 19. Feb, 2010
I don't mind the new stuff, except Alliance gems x2. I think Mages should've stayed on that one. Alliance to me is a keyword that isn't specific to anything. To me Alliance should be able to help any strategy and any keyword or resource. An "allround"-keyword.
Progressor on 11:48, 23. Feb, 2010
As all-round:
I suggest making the Resource producion it doubles random.

Other idea:
Production x1.5 (instead of the 2 that it was)
That way you can still try to build the types of combos that made Alliance fun. Only 50% less result.

Or like longer ago:
1 bonus production, no stacking. (But that wouldn't be fun...)
jbryant3 on 13:04, 19. Apr, 2010
Another suggestion for Legend (that might not be implementable):
Whenever there is a rare and a legend in your hand, the Legend card, if playable, gets a 3-part mode underneath it. This mode selection is used to select which facility which you want to raise (because there's a rare in your hand).

This eliminates the random-facility raising (that isn't always that helpful).
Mojko on 13:17, 19. Apr, 2010
Not implementable, indeed.
Progressor on 14:56, 19. Apr, 2010
And if you'd place the 3 Modes under it by default?
You just make the effect conditional, like is done on many cards. (Though Ive never seen conditional modes, so...)
Mojko on 15:01, 19. Apr, 2010
This is a design problem. The rendering engine does not understand the card effects or keywords. That is also the reason why Militia can target itself for example. This problem shouldn't be patched with ad-hoc hacks, but a rather with a system redesign.
Progressor on 15:08, 19. Apr, 2010
I realized that what I said was ugly.
Just thought out loud here. ;-)
Noak on 14:04, 16. Jun, 2010
(correct me if i'm posting this in the wrong section)

The change of the "legendary" keyword was much needed but as for now it feels a bit random and unreliable, i would propose changing it so it always increased your lowest facility. That isn't always good neither is it always bad but it make legend cards more reliable and you depend less on chance when playing them.
