Played Ancient sage in round 29, Legend-effect, X16 production. Needless to say Lord of time dealt brutal game-winning damage round 31.

I really like the altered Ancient sage. Insane for Alliance.

I thought the sage had max limit on the production.
Lord_Earthfire on 20:42, 22. Dec, 2009
He has a limit of 6X, with alliance effeckt X12. But i daubt that Lord of time is stronger when using duplication.

What is the purpose of this topic?
There are a lot of nice combos, Dark Forge+Dragon Squadron/Orc Regiment for example. So what?
Myschly on 00:31, 23. Dec, 2009
I dunno, I just love using cards to the max, with insane results. Getting the Legend and Alliance-ability at the same time, boosting production an insane amount in hidden cards mode.

I guess the thread is to talk about how awesome Ancient sage is now that it counts Alliance as well.

Xpoh, the purpose of this topic is that he got to execute an awesome combination and was proud of it. Were I his opponent, I would have commended him for it. Why do you have to rain on his parade by asking "So what?"

In this and other discussions ("Fastest game ever?"), it's almost as if you take personal offense when people discuss certain strategies or tactics, and I'm not sure I understand why it seems to bother you so.

Well played, Myschly.

I'm just trying to get the point of the post.
"Hey guys i played one of tons of obvious combos!" does not sound like the reason for thread creation for me, so i'm trying to figure it out.

If it was about ancient sage nerf due to overpowerness, or lets-post-interesting-combos-and-other-hints thread, i'd not have any questions.

P.S. Lack of language skill makes me to express my thoughts more straightforward and strict, so they may seem more offensive than intended.

I don't want to come down on you for the language barrier, so I'll try to help by explaining how it comes across. When you say "So what?" in response to someone's post, it reads as if everything they had to say was invalid. It does not express a desire for more information. Your follow-up question of whether he's meaning to suggest it needs to be changed or simply showing its efficacy with a screenshot is much more meaningful. Saying "So what?" just comes off as being dismissive and potentially insulting. Seeing it makes me cringe and gives the feeling of trying to start a flame war.

I recognize that this was not your intention, so please do not take offense.

Xpoh: Well it was about something. It was about the adding of Alliance to the mix, and how awesome it makes the card for combo-lovers like me, without being overpowered.
