Major change:

- discarded cards processing system changed from diff-based to log-based

-> this means that discarded cards are no longer determined by comparing hands before and after the turn, but instead the discarded cards are logged right when they are actually discarded (this means that all anomalies should be removed regarding discarded cards including Whirlwind related issues)

Minor changes:

- Profile link added to battle report message
- Titan keyword effect no longer takes into account played card (when summoning Titan part)
- Random resource filter added to Decks and Cards sections
- Random resource gain and reduction now uses weighted random choice (this means that when gaining resources the resource with lowest amount is most likely to be chosen. In case of resource reduction resource with highest amount is most likely to be chosen. This behavior is consistent with Charge secondary effect)

Balance changes preview:

Ancient sage - cost lowered to 8/8/8 from 10/10/10
Demon fruit - card text corrected
Emissary of the afterlife - completely reworked card effect
Hungry dead - card effect changed to "Opponent loses 10 random resources"
Knight of time - cost lowered to 9G 9R from 11G 11R
Lord of time - cost lowered to 23G 12R from 23G 16R
Micramix - card effect now shuffles both player's hands
Moat - condition changed to "If last card played wasn't Moat"
Mysterious egg - stock gain added
Shadow warrior - condition changed to "If last card played wasn't Shadow warrior"
Sheath your swords - Palisade summon removed, Saints day and Ambassador summon added
Sorceress - cost raised to 11G from 10G
Steelbeard - condition changed to "If last card played wasn't Steelbeard"
Tidal wave - card text corrected
Watchtower - card text corrected
Whirlwind - added Aria keyword

- some cards remain unchanged, but are effected by the system change

Ambush - card remains unchanged, but is actually buffed by system change
Doppelganger - card remains unchanged, but is actually buffed by system change
Magic portal - card remains unchanged, but card text is updated to better reflect new system behaviour

New cards preview.

Feedback is appreciated.

It might be not quite clear if Doppelganger gives gems always
or only when replacing card.
Mojko on 18:23, 29. Jun, 2015
If it would be always applied, it would have "always" word included in the card effect. For example like Tubular bells.
Zaton on 18:55, 29. Jun, 2015
Oooooh~<3

The only change I am to oppose is Knight of Time - perhaps a more modest price curb would be a better approach than 6 resources straight off the tag.

Does it probably worth adding "and"?

Replace a card in hand with self and Gems: +5

That way it will be transparent so you don't have to know about "always" variant.
Zaton on 19:41, 29. Jun, 2015
There is newbie friendly, and there is a player who just doesn't read the card effects. Many other cards are of the same format. To have doppelganger out of every one of them have a redundant 'and' in the description would cause even more confusion.

Advanced filter for finding cards: +/ - Resources?

I know there are quite a few of these and with some specialised decks they are very useful... but I can't seem to find them, they don't show up as +/- stock and I don't want to read through every possible card because, well, I'm lazy. :P
Zaton on 04:24, 1. Jul, 2015
I second Kenaz's notion...while I understand there may be a lot of work involved and we may not see the results in the summer update~ My decks do involve a lot of +resource cards:3
Mojko on 06:16, 1. Jul, 2015
What would you expect the Resources filter to do exactly? To filter out cards that modify at least one of the resources (Bricks, Gems or Recruits) or are we talking about cards that add N random resources? I can try it out if you specify your exact requirement.

Since we already have filters for specific resources (b/g/r) or for overall stock we'd need something for random resources, I think a couple of the "moon" cards or something would fall into that category with 1 random resource per 0-cost card in hand.
Mojko on 07:52, 1. Jul, 2015
I can add "Random resources" filter which will filter out all cards that do something with random resources, however I'm unable to differentiate between resource gain and resource reduction due to very variable wording in the card text. Is this feature useful to you?

New minor change added (note also added to opening post):

Kenaz on 09:15, 1. Jul, 2015
They both sound incredibly helpful; I don't think there are enough random-cards to make it overwhelming if there's no way to filter between a gain or a loss.
Mojko on 10:42, 1. Jul, 2015
Done.

New minor change added (note also added to opening post):

- Random resource filter added to Decks and Cards sections
Zaton on 11:22, 1. Jul, 2015
Wow, minor change?o.o Almost a game changer for me~<3

I'm glad to see a little buff of my favourite cards:3
MeCho on 09:50, 2. Jul, 2015
Just needs a buff to Ancient sage its weak compared to Miriam...how about a +1 Lowest facility instead of Legend and add Aliance keyword to the card im advising this becouse Miriam is way better with only 1 less production it ALWAYS gives 4x and with the help of Aliance keyword a x8 production where Ancient sage gives x5 tops also Miriam summons non common Aliance AND has lower overall cost
Mojko on 12:11, 9. Jul, 2015
We are nearly done with the testing of the discarded cards processing system and I would like to highlight some implications. I would appreciate your feedback.

- Durable and Rebirth keyword effects no longer set the new card flag on the played card
- Persistent cards are not marked as new when played
- hand shuffle effect no longer sets new card flags (effects only Whirlwind)
- some cards are effected directly

- Ambush - card remains unchanged, but is actually buffed by system change
- Doppelganger - card remains unchanged, but is actually buffed by system change
- Hungry dead - card effect changed to "Opponent loses 10 random resources"
- Moat - condition changed to "If last card played wasn't Moat"
- Shadow warrior - condition changed to "If last card played wasn't Shadow warrior"
- Steelbeard - condition changed to "If last card played wasn't Steelbeard"
- Magic portal - card remains unchanged, but card text is updated to better reflect new system behaviour (consistent with how persistent cards work)
Lord_Earthfire on 13:42, 9. Jul, 2015
Well,i like the changes, but im not sure how it works out with hungry dead. Thats like a total change of the card. But i appreciate this.

And then its time to rewrite some concepts :D

Edit: That new change could lead to longer card texts, but i dont belive that this is gonna be an issue
DPsycho on 20:34, 9. Jul, 2015
Persistent cards not having a New flag is going to be hugely different in hidden mode as you'll have no indication from what position such a card was played. This is unrealistic as, in a face-to-face game, you'd be able to see from which spot the card was played.

If you're going to implement this change, I propose that there should be some indication next to played cards as to which hand position they were. (I recognize that this would also affect the Illusion keyword and any other effect that replaces a random card in hand, but I think it would be for the better.)
