I opened up a super-old deck of mine that included a sort of "academy of illusion" uncommon card-- vaguely analogous to "academy of destruction", and I thought about switching it out so removed it to try a few other things, but when I looked for it again by using the "uncommon" filter nothing came up.

Is it what you're looking for?

So I'm guessing it's a bug with the card selection interface? I can't seem to find it there.
Coolis on 13:11, 10. Jun, 2014
Probably you have chosen from the keyword filter not the support filter.
Djinn on 13:14, 10. Jun, 2014
Um...I used the "uncommon" filter, after going to the page fresh. Then I just ctrl-F "illusion"-- after failing to find it with my eyes-- and it's definitely not there.

Edit: I looked at the card's page you linked again, and I noticed it has a suspicious "level" listing with the number "6"...is this telling me I can't see it till I've played more games, even though I already had it at first?

Edit2: If this is so, I have an interesting sort of essay to provide whoever made that design decision...

It's so, so have a link, whoever it may concern;
The Psychology of Learning by Sirlin

Level requirement was added to cards because new players where overwhelmed by the volume of content they where presented. Once you are level 10 you have all content available. To compensate it is possible to gain EXP from AI games until level 10.
Djinn on 15:16, 10. Jun, 2014
To compensate there should be a way to just check a box saying "yes, I'm ok with complete complexity, I don't need this confusing incompleteness". I'm not really learning everything I can do if I can't build a real deck. Did you read the link? Sirlin has already made a pretty successful cardgame, and has a number of pretty good posts.
Please?
=[
Pretty please?

You can be at level 10 in about 30 minutes when playing AI. The AI is actually easier below level 10 and you can pick a deck for it.

I was actually asking "pretty please can you read the article?" ]; Because this quote is exactly the problem I am taking issue with.

Edit: For a better explanation if you really wont read Sirlin's stuff; I do not want my responses and learning gimped with a poorer AI than what other players can get and a broken card selection. It's not just a matter of impatience; it's that these things supposedly for teaching are fundamentally worse at teaching me.
