I think this card should increase wall rather than do damage. The 4 damage is negligible and generally speaking Titan decks need wall and tower to postpone the game until the combo can be completed.

You should consider that this card will appear in players' hands due to summoning one of its two keywords. Right now, it's a mediocre draw for a Soldier. Changing it to wall gain for recruit cost would make it terrible in that case.

I don't see either way being better or worse for Unliving since it doesn't cost bricks and can effectively just sit on hand or be played for token gain without attention to effects.

I can't comment as far as Titan decks go. Only Titan deck I ever used was in a scenario where I and the other player were playing the same deck to race one another for Titan victories. We were decidedly not attacking or discarding from one another's hands.

I have some experience with titan decks and here's my perception ofn this card:

Well, from my experiences with this card, i just don't play it. It will be either just a dead hand card or a fixer for the titan keyword, which is too mediocre to have any impact.
In most cases, you have one abudand titan part which you just want to play to get the missing part. assuming you have 6 parts (1 is redudant), you gain 49 counters. This means that when you hit the next useless piece, you stay at 98 tokens (or 88 when you have just overall 5 parts each, but your still missing one titan card).
While one can argue that the titan soldier fits nicely by saving one part, i encounter more often that i save the last few tokens by just triggering one far sight keyword on a gem only card.
And, in opposite for the titan soldier, the far sight cards are great in titan decks because:
a) they let you see if your opponent got and discard
b) you can plan your turns properly
c) most of them have a defensive purpose
The token-gain is here just the icing on top.

(Thats the reason why this concept is great for that place: http://arcomage.net/?location=Concepts_details&current_concept=863)
On the other hand, one could say that you play it that often to compensate for one missing piece. While this is true, you have to admit that you waste 6 turns playing a common card with almost no effect in your deck. I would pick any zero cost card that i can feed to dark flame over this.

In fact, this ard would just be a dead draw 70% of the time and its purpose is already done by far sight cards which have an actual impact in your deck.

So either:
-Increase the token-gain, so you don't waste 6 turns for one piece
or:
-Add a "militia"-like effect to it (although this collide with this concept http://arcomage.net/?location=Concepts_details&current_concept=2469)

-Add a wall gain or a recource addition to it. Gems are always great in titan decks and this would not hurt the attack value(rejuvenation, the ritual and the worshipper actually eat a bunch of them)

Edit:
ofc the whole thing will look different as soon as there are more titan-token generating cards added to the game,

I agree with Lord Earthfire. Until there are more +Titan token cards this card does not help titan decks very much at all. A larger token gain might be useful. But I think adding a discard function is more desirable than defense gain.

I find the card annoying to have in my Titan deck as things currently stand.
