I think that is quite powerful the way it is, you can create a whole deck around it looking for genbu.
My Genbu deck has 36 wins and 22 loss.
And my unliving deck has many non-unliing cards (to use elementalist cicling ability without malus) so I find it quite useful as it is.
What I mean is that for a common it could be already pretty useful, I don't fell the need to buff it.
and you can't petrify something alredy made of stones.
