Evolution, despite being Swift, is much less useful than Scepter of evolution.
1. It's rare, so you can't rely on it. Auxilia, Second chance, Scepter of evolution are uncommon, Wish is common - these cards are much more reliable, especially when Wish is combined with any of these.
2. Scepter of evolution is expensive, but it makes hand better in 95% of cases. Auxilia doesn't guarantee better hand, but can hold a card in hand - rare, for example. Second chance is very random, but very cheap as well. Evolution doesn't have any of these options.
3. In some cases you can actually make opponent's hand BETTER for your own resources. Of course, it's not the case when he has Bahamut and 75R to play it, but when his hand consists of 8 commons, his chances to get better hand after your Evolution are very high.
I think that Evolution at least shouldn't discard another rares from your hand. That would be enough, I guess. Plus it would remove that countersynergy between Evolution and Globe of Myr.

I totally agree, the card is useless.
being evolution it should evolve your cards
my take on it is this:
replace cards in hand with AT LEAST same rarity
that way rares stay rares
uncommon may become rares or stay uncommon
and so on

or i would suggest to make it an uncommon

No, ability to discard ALL cards in game is too strong for an uncommon. It should be a rare, but now it's too weak.

How about make it a generic rare version of Necromancy amplifier?

"Increases the rarity of all non-rare cards in hand."

Don't forget that this card also discards opponent's hand without and he can't draw rares. I agree that this card could be improved a little.

But now Tsunami is better as enemy hand discarder (Aqua, Durable), and uncommons are better as hand replacers. Even Swift doesn't make it much better.
Keeping another rares in hand should be more than enough for it.

I get a lot of use out of this card in one of my favorite decks, one where it's easy for my hand to grow stale. I'm actually rather content with it the way it is, but if people want to improve upon it, I won't argue.

Best rare in game, and this from the game's best player. Just an FYI for everyone, free of charge, no consulting fee. Kappa

I had it 3 times in a row once I think
