I had taken this out of a deck that I now use a lot for long mode. With the original 200% long mode, it was always a dead draw for me. Making it percentage-based would give it back some appeal.

Or removing the <45 requirement, similar to Reinforced gate.

Since the wall can be raised well beyond the max tower height, and often rather effortlessly, I'd be hesitant to remove the height restriction altogether.

Yeah, I'd rather Lookout towers not be so useful for construction victories. It has a nice niche already: defend against direct tower attacks, compensate for road to valhalla. The fact that it can sometimes bootstrap a construction victory a little bit is a nice added perk, but not its main purpose.

Besides, this card has been nerfed so many times in the last while that I'd be surprised to see it now buffed in such a significant way (especially since it's extremely popular as-is).

(This is in response to Jbryant's suggestion, of course. I'm neither strongly for nor against NG_Beholder's idea.)

i'd rather go in the opposite direction and lower the condition to 25-30 and reverse it to 6cost 15gain

In long mode you have 50 tower and 10 wall in 99 cases from 100, and 20 tower and 50 wall in 1 case. So Chateaux can be played with condition most of the times, when Lookout towers can't.
Yeah, I know that this card works mostly when combined with some wall+ cards. But you can't play it in long mode because starting tower is already 45 and you - or your enemy - should lower your tower to play it. Road to Valhalla, Valhalla, Enforcer + wall, Centaurs + wall... That's it.
And PLEASE, be so kind and stop giving me advices about deck building. If I would need it, I'll ask you for it immediately.

The thing is that if we're going to change this card in this way, then Last hope, Salvation, Jealousy and so on should be changed too. And then we should start thinking about other cards too as Mojko implied.

Long mode is supposed to serve in extending game length not changing cards that are balanced.

Anyway, if you're going to change this card please do it only for long mode and leave normal mode as it is. Besides, I rarely play long mode so I don't really care about it :)

No? This card isn't only for anti-saboteur purposes (though I encounter -tower decks in long mode as well).
