in this particular game it would be even harder for Gilga with the old card

Congratulations on your victory Damalycus. It seems it still needs some tweaking. Any suggestions (deck or AI settings) are welcome ;-)

I'd move his prosperity to uncommons. Otherway he is too hard to sap.

Actually after playing with him a little bit i noticed some things

1. he is VERY PRONE to pixie, and a bit to other stealing attacks, if you manage to discard his prosperity
2. He is somewhat prone to -tower cards, especially if you can give him valhalla via confusion
3. he has no means to discard conscripts, wind and etc cards forced to him.

his most powerfull cards are farsight cards, and should not be removed if updating his deck.

gilgamesh is the most fun ai challenge i've played in marcomage.

no, srsly AI + valhalla is suicide

he sees -14 tower , and still plays valhalla

I cannot say what is changed in Gilga's deck but he seems much weaker. is prosperity gone? without it he is almost defenseless against tower- rush + pixie

also i've noticed he never uses Magic barrier card

Instead of magic barrier, that's for sure.

I get that he is frightened of losing his brick and gems, thats why he does not use it

I've tried some stabs at updated gilgamesh. Now he is much more menacing. In one round he had 2 prosperity and 1 master thief at the start, I simply gave up.

Currently I had only 1 victory against him and 8 losses. Before update it was 200/200 (50%).

Master thief is countered by Judge, or soothed by Graceful charity. Also Two towers is gone which leaves him only two zero cost cards now.

And also I've just had a great idea to break the game with new update! I'll go bugtest it now :D

Dark templar vs gilga cards (can't draw rares)

I hoped the earth will stop :)

But nothing, I guess because in game's mechanics his rares count as commons?

Also another question which bothered me this whole time. Does he has 33/33/33% draw rate for all his cards? Or like the usual common/uncommon/rare draw rate?

If you look at his deck (outdated Gilgamesh's deck), you will see that rare cards are in common and uncommon slots. The drawing system doesn't know this, therefore these cards are treated as common and uncommon cards. So his draws are completely standard.

Massive necro and offtopic, but there are things I'd like to look into sometime, like improving AI and UI. I've worked as a games freelancer, developed front end / back end for 2D and 3D web apps; WAMP, PHP, HTML, JS, SVN familiar skills.
