Can we please make this card less horrible so I don't weep every time I summon it with Revolt?

I like the idea of the card, but right now the cost isn't worth the reward in any but the most extreme circumstances. 12 damage is a pathetic amount (common cards can routinely do 10, and a lot more cheaply).

I think that this card is litle overpowered right now. Lots of players use it in their decks because it is very convenient to replace 3 cards with Conscript only for -5 stock.
In my opinion -8 stock and attack 10 will do it.

you forget the fact that those conscript are giving you 1-2 rares via next turns
X-Factor on 21:56, 17. Feb, 2012
Yes that's true but still I think it is little overpowered

I don't. It makes Purifying flame or Dark flame considerations for your deck.

This card is not a FotM, it has been in top 10 uncommons played for a very long time, and there is a reason why. Compare this card with Elemental storm (13G, no attack, Destruction keyword), Intrigue (6/6/6, no attack, single targeted discard), Desert traveler (8R, no mass discard, additonal resource reduction). Elemental storm and Conscript army are able to ruin enemy hand, but Conscript army does it in round 1 and doesn't need anything else to be used with maximum effectiveness.
I think this card should be either nerfed somehow or reworked. Like that, for example:

Uncommon, 0/0/0
Attack: 12
Stock: -3
Replace up to 3 commons in hand with Conscript.

Thoughts?

I would use it much more often in my decks. Getting 3 conscripts after 0 cost is already good enough even without attack.

In other words it's not op at all. Maybe a little annoying when paired with halflings.

I'd rather see those Conscripts in enemy hand than in mine when I see Conscript army against me. Yes, you can summon 2 non-common zero cost cards after Conscript army, but... what you gonna do about it? There is a very big pool of non-common zero cost cards, and there is like 95% probability that summoned card doesn't fit your deck. Not to mention that you're seriously slowed by those Conscripts. Not to mention that all hand-dependent decks hate this card.
Again, there is a reason why this card is in top-10 played for such a long time. It does too much for being a zero-cost.

This is why Purifying flame is in a lot of my decks...
NG_Beholder on 14:09, 10. Oct, 2012
Purifying flame counters it, yes. But 1) it's a general counter, 2) it doesn't solve main issue - ability to be played in round 1.
