Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I don't like the new "Card pool" method of deck building. It's really clunky and takes up too much of the screen. I'm sure some like it so if possible could we make the old "Scroll bar" system an option under settings?

You should probably configure the number of cards per row in settings and use card filters for better performance. I'm not changing it back to the old system, because it suffered from multiple issues that were design related and couldn't be fixed.

I, too, think it's overloaded :(
Maybe a setting about default hidden or empty card pool would be good...

Yeah, default hide would certainly help. Also, I would actually prefer to have my deck above the card pool. Maybe that can be an option as well?

Adding an option for making the card pool hidden as default seem reasonable. I would use it as well. Actually, I wanted to make it default, but I'm afraid that newcomers could have trouble realizing that the card pool is there, but it's just hidden.

In my opinion the important information in deck builder is the deck itself. Card pool is also important but the most important is what cards you have in your deck. And as it is now deck is "hidden" meaning it's far away to the bottom. Thinking as a newcomer I would be confused seeing a long list of cards without seeing the actual deck slots where those cards go in. Others might think otherwise though.

I agree with the request to put the pool below the deck. In most cases when I click to a deck, it's because I want to quickly see what cards are currently part of it, not the hundreds that are not.

Interesting idea. I'll try it out ;-)

Ok guys I tested the idea of placing the card pool below the deck and here are the results:

+ you always see your deck at the top of the page
+ it's very easy to implement
- when you add card to deck or remove cards from deck the interface jumps because the deck is changing size

Currently, I think a better idea would be to add the setting to have the card pool hidden by default.

Why not just give us the option?

That's what I meant - the player will be able to choose in settings if he wants the card pool shown or hidden by default.

Implemented in r1193.
