I'd like to suggest adding an extra Victory condition, for the sole purpose of recording a legitimate 'Win' on the Players List.

In the case when someone just stops playing (not "surrender", they just never come back to play) it should count as a Win for the player who's still playing.

For example, I'm in a game right now where it's the other player's turn, but there's no way he can get any kind of victory during his next turn with the cards he has currently. And I will get a Victory on my next play... but he won't play his turn.

He logs in every once in a while (I see his name go green, so I know he's online) but he won't play his last turn... my only option is to surrender or wait until I have the option to abandon the game due to the other player not playing. But if I wait til I have the option to abandon the game because the other player hasn't come back, it doesn't count as a win in my stats...

This would seem a balanced solution, because if the case is an experienced player just avoiding getting a loss (as in the case noted above) then both players would get a win or a loss, as called for. And if it's the case of a newbie playing and never returning, it won't affect the newbie (cuz he's gone) but it won't have been a waste of a game for the player who is still here.

Thoughts?

I guess I'm lucky since I have yet to play against someone who lacks gaming manner like your opponent!

But I did face a lot of people who challenged me which I accepted and they never played a single card (mostly new players).
Maybe instead of 3 weeks, we can abandon games that only played say less than 5 rounds in 1 week

Not sure how win/lose shall be assigned here or not

We already fixed this problem a while back - it's like this:

When your opponent becomes "dead" (does not log in for more then 3 weeks) the game can then be aborted, i.e. does not effect the scores.

But when you have an opponent that isn't dead, but simply refuses to play, he has 3 weeks to complete his turn. Otherwise the game will be finished, i.e. you will win the game and gain one victory, while the opponent loses. You get this message "Opponent has fled the battlefield" :D.
