One Question: Did we anyway came to an end with the time-periods in which the games takes place?
jbryant3 on 17:42, 3. Aug, 2010
I didn't want to clog up the forum with posts like "sign me up."

As far as game timing, I'll probably just see how things go and message people to hurry it up if necessary.
Nix on 17:53, 3. Aug, 2010
Has it been mentioned if the tournament is hidden or not hidden (cards)?
Progressor on 17:57, 3. Aug, 2010
Not hidden was what I assumed. It's how the game is intended and leaves more place for skill.
Myschly on 19:10, 3. Aug, 2010
First a non-hidden tournament, then a hidden tournament ;)
Nix on 19:14, 3. Aug, 2010
I think there are enough people who prefer to play hidden that running two tournaments is worth looking into, at the very least.

I'd play in both, given the chance, even though I prefer hidden. Maybe playing in a non-hidden tournament would increase my appreciation for that side of the game.
jbryant3 on 20:32, 3. Aug, 2010
The one I'm running will be NON-hidden. Someone else can do a hidden one if they want
jbryant3 on 01:44, 9. Aug, 2010
Right now there are 4 people + myself signed up. If you're interested, send me the message.
Nix on 17:11, 9. Aug, 2010
I think most people don't read the forums, but I'd guess at least 85% of active players would be interested in participating. Is there any way to send out a mass message to everyone?
Mojko on 17:12, 9. Aug, 2010
Unfortunately, we don't have such feature.
Myschly on 20:29, 9. Aug, 2010
A note on the front page could work?
jbryant3 on 15:45, 10. Aug, 2010
Here are the first pairings for Round 1 of the tournament:

dimitris vs. jbryant3
BoneTrash vs. Nix
Fishguy2 vs. Progressor
daviepai vs. Myschly

The Rules:
Single elimination - best 2 out of 3 games per round - no consolation bracket
Play whichever deck you want for each game (can change per game or per round)
Make sure your opponent knows you're challenge is for the tournament

All three games must be finished by Friday, August 13th at midnight Eastern Standard Time. If you take longer, we'll work it out.

Post replays on this forum.

Good luck and have fun!!

Nix vs. BoneTrash

Game 1 - Nix Wins (125838)
Game 2 - BoneTrash Wins (125875)
Game 3 - BoneTrash Wins (125877)

Thanks to BoneTrash for a fun series! The first game, I managed to win with Survivor bonus, and both of the next two games were very close as well I thought.

Good luck in the next round :)

Ugh, good luck on me & daviepai finishing before that deadline. Timezones ftw :P
BoneTrash on 21:01, 11. Aug, 2010
Try agreeing on a time to play all games in a row, then it shouldn't take too long. It took about 40min of active playing for me and Nix so it shouldn't take more than 1hour top to finish.

If not, I don't think we'll be so mean as not to wait for you to be done :)

That's only because I suck...... ;)
jbryant3 on 23:02, 11. Aug, 2010
Like I said, if the games can't be completed by the deadline, we'll work something out. But you could have 2 games going at once also...
Myschly on 11:29, 12. Aug, 2010
Edit: Nvm. Game's on!
Fishguy2 on 04:53, 13. Aug, 2010
I'm not sure when me and Progressor are going to be able to finish our games either, I just got back from a trip on wednesday night, and we haven't been able to play a turn yet, I'm sure because of the timezone difference. Fingers crossed that we can work something out.
