This card is relatively weak, especially for an uncommon. I suggest we change it to put more undead cards in hand. Maybe to:

10B
Tower +5
Wall +5
Replaces 2 non-rare non-Undead cards with non-common Undead cards.

Thats no longer a balance change. It changes the nature of the card.
Id suggest some combination of:
*Add stock / resource gain
*Lower price
*More Tower
(to change from current crypt)

(Storywise: Undead come out the crypt so it would be illogical to spawn the undead somewhere else.)

(Storywise: aren't there more than just 1 dead thing in a crypt? When it's opened, lots of undead come out.)

I don't think this card is underpowered at all. If I were building an undead deck, chances are very good that I'd take it.

It's in mine. It's often nice to be able to throw a few bricks at something useful while saving up the necessary gems and recruits for the bulk of the deck.

It's in mine as well and a very good card might I add. It proved useful more than once and I don't think it's weak at all. Undead decks base their game mostly on the extremely powerful uncommon cards, not just their rares, so this card can help you win the game essentially.

Also 6 bricks is basically 0-cost for an Undead deck, that only uses up gems and recruits. Even with a few +wall/+tower cards on hand, the player craves to lay off his bricks

List of Undeads that can be summoned with this card:

Good draws for any deck: Spectral dragon (10G/10R), Necromancer (10G/10R), Ice revenant (10G/10R), Bone dragon (10G/10R), Dark knight(10G/10R), Koschei (10R), Necropolis (10B O_o), Undead cavalry (10G/10R), Lich (8 stock, full cost), Necroent (10G/10R), Stalker (10G/5R).

Situational draws: Army of darkness (10G), Corrupted woods (8 stock, full cost), Undead host (10G/10R), Risen angel (9G/10R), Hungry dead (8G/8R, full cost), Fallen knight (10R), Spectral siren (10G), Deathwood shaman (10G/10R).

Bad draws for any deck except Undead: Banshee (9G/9R, full cost), Corpses behemoth (10G/10R), Emissary of the afterlife (10G/10R), Eternal guardian (1 stock, full cost), Unholy shrine (10B), Vampire (10G), Vampire countess (3G, full cost).

REALLY bad draws: Vampire lord (10G/10R).

So this card gives you a card in hand and some resources to play it (or another card). In 10 cases of 27 it will be a rare which can be played or turned into more useful by Veteran militia. In 12 cases you'll get 10G/10R, in another 7 - full or almost full cost of summoned card, so even if you wasn't lucky with Crypt and got Emissary of afterlife - resources are almost always welcome. So this card is good in many decks, not only in Undead.

I'd like to see something like Flame obelisk instead of this form.

UC, 15B
Wall: +10
Replace neighbouring cards with Undead
Stock: +2 for each Undead replaced

Or anything else.

You were unlucky that you had no wall+ cards in hand. Playing the Undead cavalry depleted the stock giving you time to recover. I could increase the cost of Crypt to 17B that it wouldn't be played on the first turn.
NG_Beholder on 20:52, 20. Jul, 2012
This card is more balanced with 17B cost, but it's still too good in non-Undead decks. I guess it can be fixed with a condition similar to Titan's head/heart:
"Summons non-common Undead
If #Undead in hand >4
Gain cost of the summoned card (max 10)"
Damalycus on 12:08, 14. Sep, 2012
I love the new condition
