I love the new far sight keyword, but I miss revealing the entire hand with Lighthouse. Is there any way that Lighthouse can have both Far sight and the old ability to reveal opponent;s entire hand?

That might work a little too well when used together with other cards with the Far sight keyword when it comes down to it.

...unless we implement cards that can hide revealed cards. I'd proposed a few in Concepts in the past.

I remember Lighthouse being a very special card but these days it's quite boring.

Maybe we could make it so it Reveals its matching card before the Far Sight keyword effect, and thus always gives a bonus of sorts (except if it matches a zero cost, of course.)

Shameless self-bump. I still think it's a nice idea.

Me too. But its tower gain should be lowered in that case.
Damalycus on 08:37, 21. Apr, 2012
But what about non-hidden mode then?

make a condition:

If matching is hidden - reveal it, tower +10
else Tower+13
NG_Beholder on 14:10, 21. Apr, 2012
Far sight always works in non-hidden mode. I think that's enough.
DPsycho on 14:17, 21. Apr, 2012
See, I think it should do more when the matching card is hidden. Make it more useful in a hidden game. It could have its regular +tower and Far sight effects, but add a little something more: If matching card is hidden, reveal it and tower +3, or something similar. Rebalance the base values as necessary.

I'm currently running a Far Sight deck, and though Lighthouse feels fairly useful in general, the 'reveal matching card' ability is totally redundant with Far Sight. If it revealed the opponent's entire hand, that would be one useful thing. If it revealed the matching card before triggering Far Sight, that'd be another. As is, though, it seems to do nothing, so that should be taken away entirely rather then sit there uselessly.
Lord_Earthfire on 16:51, 17. Jul, 2012
In fact, it reveals the card before triggering far sight, so in hidden mode, you will always trigger far sight's effect... I don't know whats irrelevant there
Endovior on 18:01, 17. Jul, 2012
Just tested that... yeah, it actually does do that. Not sure why I though otherwise.
