Obtaining 400 resources is such a difficult thing to do now and there's very little benefit in doing so. It takes too long, giving your opponent too much time to do something against you. For example, for 70 recruits, you can do 200 damage. For 60 recruits, you can do 100 damage. Most opponents can't survive either of those attacks

I suggest we lower the required amount to 300. Lowering the cap makes such a victory feasible.

You can achieve a victory at 400 easily I think. Cards like Ancient Sage, Bank etc. make it feasible, and 400 is a limit that keeps these cards in balance.

This is necessary. If it weren't then it would be evidenced by more people building and winning with resource accumulation. With the change in Legend, I think it is needed and would be fun to build/play against.

Separate thought:
Could maybe even have it an either/or like 300 resources OR > 20 total facility.

If you can get to 300 resources, it won't be much longer before you can get to 400. To me, either is virtually identical, as accumulating that many resources pretty much means that you have a lock on the game already.

Because both seem the same to me, I have no objection to changing to 300. I agree with Progressor that it's not needed, but I also think it will have little effect. Those who win via resource victory will still do so under the change; those who don't, still won't win in that manner. You really can't win that way on accident regardless.

I say we try it out. If it becomes a problem there's no reason you can't place it back to 400.
