I understand why the ability doesn't replace burning cards, but this only helps out a burning deck (which wildfire gem and phoenix will be in). I feel that Titan and possibly unliving should get the same immunity to flare attack. A counter to flare attack is needed, now that a common card has the ability, and it is really cheap to play, an opponent can completely replace your hand with cards that only benefit him (if his deck is built for burning cards, which it usually is) in two turns. I have used this strategy,and been on the receiving end, and from both sides it just feels overpowered right now.

There might be a need for a counter indeed, thoug I don't believe the Unliving need that boost all for them self. Some card punnishing it would be better.

if your going to give that immunity to some keyword, give it to a weak one, like undead or alliance
unliving isnt exactly weak

I was trying to pick keywords that fit with the existing immunity from Flare Attack that Burning gets. It was just an idea, I just wanted to start a discussion on flare attack, cause I feel it needs some tweaking, but I like the ability, so I was trying to think of a way to keep the ability, but give an opponent a way to counter it.

there are already several good counters agains flare attack.
an example is black market. if you have a lot of searing fire cards and the opponent has phoenix, keeper of souls or similar to that, just exchange the cards.
generally any card that can dropp a chosen card in opponents hand is very useful here.
i dont think that wildfire gem is as overpowered as militia, pegasus or last hope. but i would agree that it should be made a little more expensive to play.

its only a +1 stock quick card, and its an uncommon
if opponement plays well u shouldnt be able to use the +30 tower thingy

I recently countered a flare attack by playing quick cards immediately after and letting the opponent play Don't be hasty, replacing all of the new Searing fire cards. I had to pay in stock, but I needed to refresh my hand anyway, so it felt like a worthwhile trade.
