Either way, I don't think we need more non-rare dragon cards. That would make it too easy to draw a rare Dragon card and thus make Dragon decks even more powerful
Chrone on 17:44, 1. Mar, 2010
You really want to pay 10 stock for a dragon egg? lulz.
Read description.
Lord Ornlu on 18:09, 1. Mar, 2010
You pay 10 stock to receive 16 in 2 turns. It's not worth it. I wouldn't pay 10 stock for a dragon egg, but it's the only useful reason I would have this card in a deck. Otherwise it just takes up place. I could use other +stock cards instead of Lone Dragon, and thus make better use of the position in my deck

EDIT: for example such cards are Fairy (also Swift), Cathedral, Dragon Fairy (if conditions are not met), and also Moonlight Unicorn and Frost Unicorn which boost up Gems production pretty easy, +1 random facility
Chrone on 18:26, 1. Mar, 2010
You definitely don't get the point of card.

You say it overpowered, then you say it is underpowered...

Well, you do not have to pay 10 stock =)
Progressor on 19:09, 1. Mar, 2010
Situationally, the -10 stock can be dodged if you don't have stock (or partially when low on stock). That makes this card worthwhile, even if you don't intend to combo it with other restoration. Prosperity is still an awesome card.
DPsycho on 19:16, 1. Mar, 2010
I know it's redundant, but I would add text to the card making it VERY CLEAR that the effect only occurs if there is no other Dragon in hand. Otherwise, should such a card go live, we're going to have a new topic in the forum every three or four weeks where someone "discovers" that the card is bugged because it gave a Dragon egg.
Progressor on 19:31, 1. Mar, 2010
Currently it would still give Prosperity if there already is an egg and a Dragon on hand, so, it's actually necessary to add it to keep the idea of the card alive.
Chrone on 19:32, 1. Mar, 2010
This will teach people to learn rules.
Chrone on 20:34, 1. Mar, 2010
Plx note that you cannot play this card-something swift-prosperity because swift on the same turn will not remove new flag. So it is susceptible to discard in both hidden and normal modes.
Lord Ornlu on 23:45, 1. Mar, 2010
hey i do get the point, im just countering your remark that i would pay 10 stock for a dragon egg. and still im not convinced i could use this in any deck, unless i use it when i have very low stock like someone said before
Progressor on 12:27, 3. Mar, 2010
You are now saying that you get the point, while your statement proves you don't.

Its the entire point of the card to play it when you don't have another Dragon so you don't get Dragon egg.
DPsycho on 15:06, 3. Mar, 2010
Progressor, he really didn't say what you seem to think he said. He said that it wasn't worth using it to draw Prosperity and having to wait an additional turn to use it due to its effect being nullified if New. He then proposed that, due to this limitation, it would actually be preferable to use it to draw Dragon egg, but only by comparison, as that effect would also not be worth it. At no point did he suggest that drawing an egg was "the point" of the card. His last addition was that it would only be useful if used with low stock as others proposed, but that it wasn't enough for him to include it in a deck. It seems to me that he's demonstrated an understanding for the card's mechanics and usefulness.
Lord Ornlu on 16:34, 3. Mar, 2010
i got the point of the card, it's just that every aspect of it would be useless to me, perhaps i'm wrong, it's just my oppinion after all. If Progressor and Chrome see it another way, then be my guests and use this card. i'm just suggesting that the card as it is, is too weak and essentially offers nothing. Perhaps it could be twitched (i.e. perhaps less stock loss, or make it a Swift instead of Quick, or even a common instead of an uncommon) to soften the penalty and actually be worth the consideration of taking it into one's deck.
Progressor on 18:25, 5. Mar, 2010
Ow sorry, I see my subconsious automatically entered the word 'not' in Lord Ornlu remark (thinking he would not be willing to pay 10 stock), since being willing to pay 10 stock for Dragon's egg is not a logical assumption. (I tend not to want to even pay the card cost.)

I'd prefer the delayed stock boost. Ive noticed there aren't that many general purpose stock boosters, and some decks really can't miss the 14 Tower to get the much desired 8 stock. With this card Id spare 14 tower and get the stock just a lil later (and maybe chain it with other Restoration cards).
Lord Ornlu on 00:20, 8. Mar, 2010
chaining it with restoration cards would be a good idea, but it's still too many rounds until you can make a sufficient gain, and too many card slots used up. Ofcourse like you said, this is a general resource booster and not specific, so it is expected to be harder to achieve it
