Hi everyone,

I just thought of a few things how to make this game more popular on the internet and suddenly the topic question occured to me...

I personally remembered the game from M&M-8 and searched for it on google which led me to wikipedia where I found a link to this site at the bottom of the page.

and you ?
dindon on 20:29, 24. Aug, 2008
I too found this site through the wikipedia link. I wouldn't be surprised if that was how a lot of people found it. There aren't a lot of pages linking here, or a lot of publicity for the game or anything.

I was playing on kongregate a game called "castlewars". My opponent mentioned this game as much more interesting. He was right! :)

Ultimately I found it through the Wikipedia page, but here's the whole story.

One day I had a sore throat that had kept me up much of the night, so I called in sick to work in the morning. Looking for something to torrent while no one was around using the bandwidth, I searched for some old games. I wasn't searching for, nor had I ever heard of, Arcomage, but it came up on an otherwise unsuccessful search for something else thanks for several paragraphs of story that were attached to the file. I downloaded it, enjoyed it, and decided to search for more information, leading me to the Wikipedia page and, finally, here.

I had never heard of arcomage before. I was browsing the forums on gamefaqs and saw dindon's recommendation for this game.

There was a thread on something awful last summer about this site, and there was a small rush of people from there. I think I am the only still playing.

Yeah, people make all sorts of links xD

I too discovered this via Castlewars. Slightly differently from Tangente though:
I found it on a site for free games, Newgrounds or something. After playing and liking it I looked to the game description. In the description the creator mentioned that he had based it on Arcomage. After some browsing I came here.
Later I returned to Castlewars to reccomend this site, so I wonder weither I might be the one that brought Tangente in here. :-P

A long time ago I tried to play in Might & Magic. But when I found Arcomage at the beginning - I start to play it all the time without passing the main game (I coudnt play in M&M, bacause every time I start playing - I went to arcomage and played there) )).
I tried to fing something like this in internet, but unsuccessfully. Now, after some years have passed - I tried to find it again. At first - I've found offline Arcomage from 3DO. Then I thought that somebody could made an online version of this game or a game like Magic the Gathering. And I found this ).

KingPirux on 20:38, 12. Nov, 2008
i loved this game on M&M 7 (the best M&M ever, except for the stupid ending chapter...)

so one day a friend of mine come to may hose to fix his computer and we tryed to instal M&M 7 on it but the disc where totaly destroyed T.T but i saw the arcomage publicity on its failed instalation so i downloaded the game, then searching for an online vercion of it i ended here... i miss my original M&M7 cd's
KaptenBrajjskägg on 20:39, 12. Nov, 2008
Well, I just searched for the Arcomage (after playing it on M&M 7 and 8) and found this link on the wikipedia site. Just like many others of you.
ben on 23:01, 12. Nov, 2008
I just want to say that despite the lack of Arcomage, M&M 6 was far superior to all the others. But ya, my brother got me into this after he found it while trying to download the original M&M version.
Sundancer on 18:43, 14. Nov, 2008
You are absolutely right! M&M 6 is just overwhelming, I loved it.
merchito on 19:31, 14. Nov, 2008
I was playing (again) M&M 7 when I got the idea of searching the internet for a standalone version of Arcomage...
And, yes... M&M 6 is from far the best of the series !!

By the way... Trying to play again Arcomage in M&M after having played it on this site proves a real disappointment. M&M's Arcomage lost all its appeal... :)
Wuschel on 02:29, 16. Nov, 2008
M&M => google => wiki => here :)

@admins,
marcomage is a browsergame, right?
why don't i see it in those browsergames-award-pages like
http://browsergameaward.pallace.de/
http://www.gamesdynamite.com/
(those are german pages. i dont know any english ones)
or similar?

thats where you normally can find any online game. - except marcomage.
