I find the art for this card lackluster especially when compared to the detail of other Alliance cards or any other card available. I hate to bring this up with out any alternatives. What are your thoughts?
KingPirux on 13:58, 13. Mar, 2009
well, i think is the most usefull compared with the other for the only reason that goes fine with any kind of deck, but, besides that, is just a card that atack 6 or tower -7 if you have better wall... in other point of view the other alliance are better gems makers or production

for what i see is not the big deal

or you mean the image?? well the image is quite poor quality compared with almost any other card

I love the card this post was only about the image.

GoSUCoLO on 11:58, 14. Mar, 2009
the last one looks usable not only for game purposes lol
Progressor on 13:08, 14. Mar, 2009
I particularly dislike the last 2.
All above have a kinda... something nice :-).

Really, as a community, we should be looking toward acquiring art that isn't owned by someone else and used without their permission.
kakerlake on 14:13, 14. Mar, 2009
it is a matter of one email to get permission to use a picture for such a small comunity like we are.
DPsycho on 14:23, 14. Mar, 2009
Yes, an email exchange from the artist/owner would be ideal. Preferably, an artist who would let us use several images as we have a few hundred cards all using art from who-knows-where. Tracking down the artist/owner of each image we currently use would be an epic feat.
GoSUCoLO on 14:26, 14. Mar, 2009
are you sure its illegal to use those pics without commercial purposes?
DPsycho on 14:36, 14. Mar, 2009
It's copyright infringement to use other people's artwork without their consent. Some of the artwork used may be art that was commissioned for a fee or is used for a commercial work. Even if no money is collected by this site, we could be sued for its use.

If we were to verify that all art used is offered freely by the artists/owners, then we'd be fine, but others have recognized some of the art from covers of books and other sources. Those images are not freely available.
kakerlake on 23:15, 15. Mar, 2009
for picture #2: the artist is D. L. Taylor, also known as liquidd. didn't find an email adress, but some online profiles, where it should be possible to contact him.
link 1: liquidd profile at elfwood. he didn't login in over a year :(
http://www.elfwood.com/art/d/t/dtaylor/profile.html
link 2: probably the better choice. no clue when he loged in last time, but one month ago he added a new picture.
http://liquidd-1.deviantart.com/

if mojko or theultramage intend to use the picture, they can ask nicely there.

btw: D.L.Taylor has loads of good pictures. i think it would be really worth it to ask him for permission.

The art or image on the cards add to the fantasy of the game and this one takes away from the fantasy, at least for me it does. Thanks for the feedback.

Why does this little guy do extra damage to the tower if your wall is higher? Does the arrow go farther or hit harder?
DPsycho on 03:09, 5. Dec, 2010
From the higher ground, an archer would be able to fire farther, yes. She's clearing the enemy wall and hitting something more important within.
