Hi everyone,

I thought of creating a card with something like a timer

You would for example draw the card in round 8 and for each round that has passed since then it reduces your stock by 1 if you play it. ( play it in round 12 and it will reduce your stock by 4 )

Is something like that implementable ?

A system would probably have to be devised to show visibly how many turns have passed.

I'm pretty sure this would be impossible in the current system.

Yes, it is implementable. I'm pretty sure that "Round" is mentioned as a usable data in the card template in the game manual.

but this is a continuos effect if I understand corretly sundencer's idea. are you sure it's implementable?

It's semi-continuous, it has, when you play it, an effect depending on the round number it was drawn. It doesn't give -1 stock each turn you have it on hand, but when you play it, it has an effect based on how long ago it was drawn.

The continuous part of the story here is that it should store the round it was drawn.

(So effect -> non continuing; Way to determine effect -> continuing (sort of))

Continuous effects are not supported. However, the current round data is available. For example you can create a card that has attack based on current round. I suggest redesigning the card effect by removing continuous effects.

hmm that wouldn't be as exciting as it is now... guess it's just bad luck, I liked the idea ;)

I'll leave them as they are now but you may change them anytime if you like them.
[Edit] well or not ^^ I change them :p
