Thought it's a good combo together with Shrine. :)

hmm I'm struggeling with this card... I'd like to make it quick but then it would be almost as powerfull as an uncommon... but if I take away the quick effect I would'nt take it anymore...

Maybe just the Wall+1 effect?

ps: ok .. I took the +2bricks away and I think now it's ok

Zero cost w/ pure positive effects is just too powerful. Why would anyone ever NOT play this?

It needs a drawback if it's going to have the quick keyword.

Well ... I personally don't think that + 1 wall and +1 gem is powerfull and it is also wasting a card slot. If it were uncommon I would'nt take it and you know why ? because there are plenty of other uncommon cards that I think are suitable for my deck. The problem is not that Prayer Wheel is too strong but there are just too many common cards that I would never! use and thus everyone would take this card since there are not enough alternatives.

Pegasus for example is also quick, free and a lot better than Prayer Wheel but it is uncommon and so just one out of many possible and worthwhile options.

That's not exactly the reason. By design, common cards are supposed to be the weakest. So, any common quick zero cost card that doesn't hurt you is, as EricH says, an absolute no-brainer to take. It's basically a "draw again", with a chance to get an uncommon when you would have got a common. Even a zero cost quick card that does absolutely nothing would be overpowered (not overpowered in the sense of being a game-winning card, but in the sense of being a card that you should always logically include in your deck).

perhaps add effect: recruits -1?

What about a "next card will be a common card from your deck" ? that way even the chance of drawing Shrine right afterwards are given and I like a little randomness ^^

Even then, you're still getting the advantage of "free" wall and resources (no matter how small), and the advantage of being able to essentially restrict the number of commons you use (even if not the frequency with which you get them).
