I was thinking a card like this would be helpful because dragon decks tend to get lots of dragons in hand and there really aren't that many common and uncommon dragons.

Useless card. You must have 6 dragons in hand to make damage comparable iwth orc regiment.

Difference is that regiment does not require any other cards to be effective, costs 20 gems less and is uncommon.

I'm just tired of seeing the regiment.

I've tweaked it a little bit to make it more powerful.

Id find it more suitable if it replaced by Searing fire.

That would work too, but Flare already does that. Just trying to change things around some.

Further:
Replace cards matching Dragons with purified ashes.

Should be:
Replace matching card in enemy with purified ashes.
Or:
Replace Dragon cards with purified ashes.
Or, looking at your last post:
Replace odd or even cards with purified ashes.

Or you intend something I don't see.

I want it to replace enemy cards in matching positions as Dragons in hand.

great idea- I wanted to make a dragon deck but it turned out too simple.
