In cards that have an effect based on the number of cards with a certain keyword, I've had many situations when the effect is greater than that. It appears that when a card has multiple keywords, both under the specifications of the effect (like Burning and Beast with Keeper of Souls), the single cards counts as two for the effect. If this is intended, could it be added to the details for the card?

Why would it not be expected to work this way? These cards have always worked like this, all such cards operate in this manner, and the calculation follows correct mathematical logic. It would be unnecessary and lengthy to have each card explain it in greater detail. Perhaps an added note to the game manual, then?

I think the card descriptions are clear enough in this case. In addition, such effects are explained in the game manual.

I just found it in the manual, but I don't know why it would be expected otherwise. It specifically says "#Burning + #Beast cards in game" instead of "#Burning + #Beast keywords in game", the former would mean that the number could never exceed 16, and only counted the number of cards. The latter is what actually happens. I think I made this realization some time before, but shortly forgot, and it came up a couple times lately. Since you intend it, could you fix the card text?

If there are 16 cards total, the maximum number of Beast cards is 16, and the maximum number of Burning cards is also 16. The maximum number of Beast cards plus the maximum number of Burning cards is 16+16=32. Nowhere is it implied that if a card is part of one tally then it is not part of the other tally.

Look at it this way. If you had just the one card and you were asked how many Burning cards there are, the answer is one. If you were then asked how many Beast cards there are, the answer is also one. The answer doesn't change to zero just because it was already asked whether there were any Burning cards.

If the card text said "Burning OR Beast cards" then each card would only count once. Use of the word "and" or the mathematical operation "+" correctly suggests that the tallies are totaled accordingly as they are now. The logic behind it is sound.
