I like the effect, but I think it's a little weird giving it the mage keyword, just because every other mage card has represented an actual mage (I think). With the current title, it seems more like an illusion (or maybe destruction or restoration, I guess) card, since they tend to represent the "spell" type effects. Just a little observation. You could always change the name/picture too.

Good point. I'd originally conceived it as the individual casting the mind control, but I didn't like any of the names I had for it. "Mind Bender" kept reminding me of a G.I.Joe villain.

there was one spell like that in the Heroes of Might & Magic IV game. It was an order magic spell ( => Illusion/Mage ) you could also look up the picture from there
