Ugh. Just refreshed for the update (F5 and all that), and the changes made to the Games page look pretty awful, imo.


Could Active Games and Hosted Games be aligned Top/Bottom rather than Right/Left? Having Active Games shunted off to the right after so many years of it being in the very center, conveniently just below the Games button itself feels very awkward. Since not everyone would want to use this new feature to start games, placing it where it is now doesn't feel right.

I'd prefer if Active Games were centered again just below the Games button as before with the new Hosted Games appearing below it, also centered.


Additionally, within the Hosted Games section itself, having the drop-down menus divided by the icons as they are right now is a little confusing. Could those be vertically aligned rather than horizontally so it's more clear which icon is meant for which drop-down list?

The positioning of the drop-down lists has already been altered since my initial post. It's easier to see now, thanks.

Would it help if we switched the position of both sections? So, hosted games would be to the right and active games to the left?

I suppose it would be an improvement, since the buttons would then be closer to the center and not off to the far edge.

When a game has just ended, things no longer fit. This is kinda ugly. To correct this Id suggest moving it underneath Active games, rather then next to it.
Perhaps it would be better to put it under messages, since normal challenges are there too.
Even simpler: less border for the Host game panel.

When I first suggested this to Mojo, I was expecting the active games to be on top, and the 'game lobby' to be under it.
Since we've got a lot of unused vertical space, maybe that would be more appropriate?

I'd prefer an above/below approach myself with active games on top, yes.

thank you for this nice idea, it's really useful in my opinion.
I'd like to have the number of my free slots somewhere in the "hosted games" window (I always want to have 1 or 2 free slots to accept friend's challenges).
