This would be good to combine with Shrine, giving the opponent an opportunity to deal a little damage to prevent it.

:D I got the idea while I looked at Shrine ;)
I just couldn't decide whether it should cost 3 or 4 bricks :)
Maybe it should have another effect like "Next card received will be Shrine".

I think it's cute enough as it is. It has the possibility to give relatively cheap wall. Aside that, it's rather sucky drawing a common guaranteed after a common. It (Shrine) might clog your hand as it is easy to prevent.
(1/5 chance to be better then Fortified wall, which has the same cost, 1/10 just as good, 7/10 worse, unless you have a Shrine (jeej for stats))

Leave it without the next draw condition. It stands now as a fine suggestion.

What should this card do when your wall height is divisible by 10? Should it add 10 or 0 wall?
Sundancer on 16:44, 21. Oct, 2009
I'd say 0. 10 would be too much for just 3 bricks ( double wall does the same for 6 bricks and even just +9 for 3B is still incredible. Just add "No effect if your wall is allready devisable by 10"
dindon on 20:42, 24. Oct, 2009
The text says: "Raises your wall up to the next height that is divisable by 10".

I played it with wall height 10, and it didn't affect my wall. I think a reasonable definition would say that the NEXT number after 10 that is divisible by 10 would be 20. "Next" really implies "coming after", and 10 obviously doesn't come after 10.

If it is working as intended, I'd say a better description would be "If wall is not divisible by 10, raise it to the next height that is divisible by 10".

Also, "divisible" is spelled wrong in the card text.

It works as intended, but the card text needs improvement.
celticfrost on 19:06, 25. Oct, 2009
The discription of "Strive for height" says "Raises your wall up to the *next* height that is divisable by 10" but there is no effect if current wall value is divisible by 10. I suppose the word "next" should be removed (and I understand that mathematically speaking there is no contradiction in description that is used now).
Sundancer on 20:14, 26. Oct, 2009
I have to admit that I didn't check it out, but I assume that strive for height doesn't raise your wall up to 10 if your wall is zero?
dindon on 22:00, 26. Oct, 2009
Zero is generally taken to be divisible by any number except for zero itself.
DPsycho on 23:00, 26. Oct, 2009
Yes, as it is a multiple of ten, it follows that it is also divisible by ten.
planegray on 21:46, 13. Nov, 2009
If wall=0 it does nothing. Working as intended?
Mojko on 21:55, 13. Nov, 2009
Is 0 divisible by ten? Yes, it is. So, it works as intended :P
