What's the max number of the same card on one player's hand? Is it 4?

If it is, what will happen in the following case:
I have 4 Winds on my even position, opponent have 4 Winds on their even position.
I use an odd position Tribute Mode 1, now opponent suppose to have 6 Winds?

I know the case is extremely rare, but I came up with an annoying card idea that kinda works with max number of the same card on hand haha, so just want to make sure

No, there is no limit. Just the possibility of this situation dractically descreases with incresing number of same cards in hand.

I thought Cursed Amulet could not be discard before, but I just checked and it doesn't say that, did I remember wrong?

Cursed amulet could be discarded from the very beggining. We don't support such traits (undiscardable cards).

but it's not a bad idea to make same cards undiscardable, just to give a malus to the opponent. but I think that such a feature could not be implemented, I'm right?

Yes, you are.

It would be a pain in the ass to make the interface and logic aware of which cards can be discarded and which can't. The cards that discard other cards already have hacks to prevent discarding themselves >.>

BTW I find the Cursed amulet really dumb. The opponent will receive the same card which can be used against me. urgh...

Does anyone fancy Cursed Amulet? ;)

I do - I've played it in a number of occasions just to test its usefulness - it's idea: Get rid of a very dangerous enemy card is OK, but giving so much resources to the opponent simply isn't worth it. Also, I think it's nice that the opponent receives a card which isn't in his/her deck - that way you can guarantee that the discard is done properly (no powerful card comes to replace the discarded one).

So in conclusion - IDEA: Rare version of Intrigue; opponent gets a card which isn't from his/her deck; REALITY: Unnecessary low cost, opponent still has an advantage due to receiving a Rare card and a lot of resources. Possible solution: Opponent receives a "Damned" card which is can't kill you in one blow, nor enter a loop (playing Cursed Amulet over and over again) ...

Intrigue and Cursed Amulet is somewhat similar, instead of costing you 8 of each resources to play, Cursed Amulet gives opponent 10 of each without costing you anything.
So Cursed Amulet is a life savior when you can't play Intrigue and you really need to get rid of opponent's card he/she just drawn.
Also Cursed Amulet guarantee the card your opponent will receive.
