1. Why is the Epic card called just Valkyrie and the Uncommon one Valkyrie Warrior? Shouldn't they be switched up?o.o

2. 'Soldier cards played' as a number to amass isn't very viable right now. The game doesn't support cards you have played later than last turn or the current turn as part of a card effect. You'd have to play Quick and Swift Soldiers, and they don't even exist.

Good fluff otherwise, keep up:3

I looked at the naming convention as her being a warrior under the command of the Valkyrie, like a King's Knight would be part of the army led by the monarch. Otherwise, it just seems redundant to look at it the other way.

Yes, I suppose such makes senseo.o

The game counts your discarded cards but not played ones? odd
Zaton on 03:21, 8. Dec, 2015
Yeah, I don't understand what's up there myself, but the help page says clear and cuto.o

You'll have to change the card or petition for a more thorough card history - I'm certain the lack of support is due to script limitations, however. Otherwise we'd already have the feature. It'd be very hard work.

I don't think that the game counts discarded cards either.
It does not keep such historic data.

Check the page, it does.

dicarded by card effect during last round from player's hand
dicarded by card effect during last round from opponent's hand
dicarded by standard discard action

The above are all supported, and the last one doesn't specify 'last round', while the other two do.

It only checks the current/last round. It cannot take into account cards discarded 2 or more rounds back, nor it can count how many cards were discarded during the game.

Can someone explain to me how Emissary of the afterlife works then?

Emissary of the afterlife looks at the cards in your graveyard. This means, it looks at the cards that are CURRENTLY DISPLAYED as having been discarded during a recent turn. Once the information is no longer onscreen due to another turn taking place, the graveyard is empty. The graveyard terminology was a recent change to reduce card text in multiple cases.

In general, card effects will always use information that is visible onscreen. You should never have to go back and hunt through the game's history to see how much of an effect playing something will have. (The only exception to the information being onscreen is when it relies on your opponent's current hand and that hand is hidden from your view.)

So you can gain additional benefit from it only by using Vampire lord then?
dimitris on 16:34, 8. Dec, 2015
From any mass discarder that discarded or, in other words, sent to the graveyard, any undead card(s) in the previous round.
DPsycho on 16:37, 8. Dec, 2015
Undead has several cards that discard every Undead card from your hand for some effect. Most are to deal damage, but one builds your wall.

Emissary used to only work after an Undead support card, before the change was made where shuffling your hand would produce a full discard list of your entire (kept) hand, but now it should trigger after any full-hand discard.
