Heh, I must say I had two insane ideas some time ago. First one was to make a card based on a zodiac sign of both players and the other was to make a card based on game round number.

Good to know that I'm not the only having such ideas :D

Btw some suggested cards are really cool ;)

I've been playing around with some ideas for legend cards. I don't know if the plan is to have them all be unicorns or if they'll come in a variety. This was one of my favorites.

Rain Bird (Legend) (Rare)
Cost: 1 All
Stock: + 2^N for both players
N = The number of DIFFERENT keywords in your hand

We have keyword theme decks, and decks without keywords, this card would reward the player that has a deck with many different keywords.

If exponents aren't doable then multiples of N could be used. I just think a card that uses exponents would interesting.

Edit: On second thought, I'm sure exponents wouldn't work here, if you had 7 different keywords (easily accomplished since some cards have multiple keywords) it would probably give you an instant resource victory or at least get you close to that. I just can't think of what multiple of N should be used.

Discard a random mage card from enemy hand, gems +5 if a card is discarded.

Edited: changed it from a max of 4 mage cards discarded to only 1. Raised recruits cost from 10 to 15.

i love the rain bird card

not themed decks are too weak
black unicorn is possibly overpowered, and mage decks are already weak enough like this


i mean think about it.... say u get dealth black unicorn against a mage deck. the card will only cost you 10/10 (because of gems bonus) and you get to do 25 damage, reduce ennemy magic (which is crucial for a mage deck), add +1 magic, and even discard his mages. way too strong

I also had think about a zodiac keyword, only twelve rare cards (one per sign). the basic idea is that after have played one of this card your next card will be the next zodiac card (example: cancer -> lion).
Anyway your idea of zodiac cards is really insane :)

I like that Time concept, though I think that often Time Warlock would be too strong (make it more expensive / max N to something / Divide N by something?)

I would really like to see cards that can swap resources. For example a card that swaps your bricks stock with enemys gems stock or one that swaps your recruits stock with enemys bricks stock. and so on...you get the idea. I have no clue how exactly the cost for these cards should be and if they should be uncoommon or rare. Maybe someone likes to develope my idea further.

I mostly just think there should be a dragon that is a legend. Sorry to say I haven't done all the calculations involved in balancing a card. I wouldn't know where to start.

Progressor, you got the idea for campfire from playing the Heroes games, didn't you?

Where N is the number of cards discarded

Next card will be a non common "you have 5 choice between mage alliance beast holy and barbarian"



note that if you have both alliance cards and barbarian cards, will it be able to perform both effects if ur lucky enough?

Well Djin, I do watch Heroes, but I don't know the game. I just wish there would be more cards with a synergy on Brigands (now we only have Thievery).

For example:
Greedy Dragon (uncommon)
Cost 15G 15R
Attack 20
Enemy stock -N
Stock +N/2
N= #Dragon's +#Brigands in own hand

As you see, the dragon takes some commision for its services. :-P
