Brigand is balanced, but it's tough. As soon as your opponent has one resource/facility too strong, you're pretty screwed. When you've got a hold, you can keep it pretty well, but it's tough.

I don't think there should be any strong cards for or against Brigand just for the sake of it.
JimmyMethod on 15:54, 25. Apr, 2009
Brigand generally can slow an opponent, but very rarely can stop one. At most, you can take about 2 stock a turn. Normally you can't sustain that amount of card play, and your opponent will still be gaining stock.

All of this, on top of the fact that you won't actually ever kill your opponent, means Brigand is incredibly weak. While it's annoying, Brigand decks rarely win games.
Chrone on 04:30, 27. Apr, 2009
Wall Fall (rare) (15b 8g)

Attack = wall/2
Wall = 1
Myschly on 08:04, 27. Apr, 2009
JimmyMethod's completely right. With original Hungry Dead, Brigand got the ability to dominate a game (as long as ones opponent didn't have more than 3 of a facility basically), but now they're pretty weak.

Maybe another rare Brigand? The only time Brigand gets to use its rare ability is with Prince of Thieves, which has been nerfed.
KingPirux on 12:54, 27. Apr, 2009
i got an idea for rare brigand!! :D

N= Brigand cards in game x 3

Huns Army (rare)

Myschly on 14:11, 27. Apr, 2009
Nonono, that's too much dmg for Brigands... I like the idea of a quick or swift Brigand tho'.

Thief in the night (common) - 0
Brigand, Quick
Gems +1
Enemy gems -1

Clandestine masonry (uncommon) - 8R
Brigand, Quick
Tower +N/2
Wall +N
Enemy bricks -N
N = #enemy bricks/4

Guild of thieves (uncommon) - 5BGR
Brigand, Durable
Discard all Brigand cards in your hand
Stock: +N
Enemy stock: -N
Enemy tower and wall are lowered by N
N = # of cards discarded this way
KingPirux on 14:49, 27. Apr, 2009
i keep the idea of bleda and attila :P the two most biggest brigands in history. But this time more balanced and more actualized :P

Attila the Hun (rare)
(30 recruits 20 bricks)
(brigand-legend-swift)
if new
Atack: 25
always
Steal opponent resources equal to Brigand cards in game + 4
Quary -1
enemy dungeons -1

Bleda the Hun (uncommon)
(25 recruits)
(brigand-durable-endure(12))
if new
Wall + 15
always
enemy recruits - Brigand cards in hand
Select a card to be replaced randomly with Attila the Hun, Huns Army or Bleda the Hun

Hun's Army (rare)
(40 recruits - Quick)
(brigand)
Atack: N/2
Steal one random enemy resource by N (max 10 min 4)
extra Brigand tokens + N
N= Brigand cards in hand x 2

Invading Brigands(uncommon)
(0 cost)
Tower + 10
Wall = 0
enemy tower - 5
enemy wall - 5
discard all your brigand cards and
recive new random cards
Chrone on 20:41, 27. Apr, 2009
I am too stubborn to deny idea of crippling your stock instead of just beat you (common) (zero cost)

Enemy stock = 0
Enemy fascilities -3
Tower = 0
Myschly on 22:43, 27. Apr, 2009
Invading brigands-card is insanely overpowered. Not at all a common, maybe a rare...

Xpoh: I have no idea of what you meant there :P
KingPirux on 00:56, 28. Apr, 2009
i don't think is that overpowered, think that it leaves you with 0 wall.. so the cost is like... your wall and for a brigands deck that's not nice... besides it discards every brigand card you had and gives you random so, almost ruin a brigands strategy if it's not very well thinked.
DPsycho on 01:05, 28. Apr, 2009
It would be powerful as part of a tower-attack deck, particularly at zero cost.

Really, the brigand part just makes no sense. People would use it in decks that have no brigand cards to begin with.
Myschly on 09:01, 28. Apr, 2009
Yeah, a better one would be:

0 (uncommon)
Tower: +10
Wall = 0
Enemy tower: -10
tom on 14:22, 28. Apr, 2009
are cards which prohibit cards being played during opps next turn possible? example:

Obnoxious Goblin -7R
Attack 1
Opponent can't play cards with gems in the cost next turn.

could be expanded upon to prohibit keywords next turn, etc.
DPsycho on 17:30, 28. Apr, 2009
I'm fairly certain that such a thing (prohibiting the play of a card) is not possible, but you can retool your card to negate the effect of the previously-played card. "If last card played by opponent cost gems..." might be possible.
tom on 14:26, 29. Apr, 2009
how about

Obnoxious Goblin -7R
Attack 1
if an opponent plays a card that costs gems next turn, it has no effect.
Myschly on 16:01, 29. Apr, 2009
I'm pretty sure that things that "last" more than your own turn (even until after you've played a swift or quick) doesn't work. Would need a huge revamping of the game.
JimmyMethod on 05:51, 30. Apr, 2009
Criminal Mastermind
(rare)
9/9/9
Brigand
Mode1:
-1 Enemy Magic
+1 Quarry
Mode2:
-1 Enemy Dungeon
+1 Dungeon
Mod3:
-1 Enemy Quarry
+1 Magic
Myschly on 09:58, 30. Apr, 2009
Ah I like Criminal Mastermind a lot! Well balanced and a good card, fitting in well with Brigand. Nice!

Could it be possible to force the other player to play a card?

Psychic (Uncommon) 9/9/9
Swift
Opponent plays selected card, if he/she can't afford it, enemy stock -5

This way one could force very interesting gamechanges. Altho' it may have to be Rare to be able to force Rare?
KingPirux on 21:32, 30. Apr, 2009
i don't think that force to play a card is a good idea if there is also a punishment if it couldn't be played...
maybe a bonus or something because it is playing as your wish, no mather if it makes you dama....
that gives me an other idea, why not a card that plays an oponents card or returns back the effect of the opponent next play card

like a mirror
Chrone on 14:57, 2. May, 2009
Great Sacrifice (rare) (6/6/6)
