Balance (rare)
Cost: 0
Average your facilities and redistribute your resources evenly.
Discard your hand and replace them with cards that have 3 costs.
JimmyMethod on 16:17, 4. Feb, 2009
Balance would be more appropriate if it affected only one or the other. As it stands, it would completely shutdown a resource deck, eliminating both a stock advantage and a facilities advantage a resource deck may have accumulated throughout the game.
DPsycho on 19:00, 4. Feb, 2009
How does it shut down any decks when it only affects the one who played the card? As I understand, it doesn't touch the opponent's facilities or stock at all.
Progressor on 21:16, 4. Feb, 2009
I go with DPsycho's interpretation.

Example:
Your facility's: 1/4/7
Your stock: 13/25/7

After the card:
Your facility's: 4/4/4
Your stock: 19/19/19

This is a perfect example. I wonder how to deal with rounding here. Usually rounding is up here. For this rare that would be quite OK too.

Lets see... A suggestion of my own (in line with Sheath your swords):

Blasphemy (0, uncommon)
Replaces all Holy, Alliance and Titan cards with cards randomly chosen from Wizard, Goblin and Abbysal scavenger.

(That was copypasted, but my spel-check tells me it should be Abysal)
(Some motivation of the choise of keywords: 2 main keyword type, 1 support type, just as with Sheath your swords)
JimmyMethod on 01:00, 5. Feb, 2009
Oh, I was looking at it was you average your facilities with your opponents. Nevermind. I actually like that card.
Loki on 06:44, 6. Feb, 2009
I think you would have to round down for that, because if your resources were 3/3/4 and you rounded up it would end up just jumping everything up to 4. And that's a little too powerful for a 0 cost.
JimmyMethod on 16:25, 6. Feb, 2009
Why would 3/3/4 round to 4 in any situation? The average would be 3.3333, so you'd round down.
X-Factor on 17:17, 7. Feb, 2009
Only ONE unique, non-playable card with blue frame is in this game. And that's CHUCK NORRIS !!! :D:D

DPsycho on 19:31, 7. Feb, 2009
Ha! The Chuck Norris card is a pretty good representation of his ability.
JimmyMethod on 04:13, 9. Feb, 2009
Personally, while I think Brigands are useful, you can't really build a deck around them.

This cards are aimed at making Brigand a worthy focus for a deck.

Cutpurse:
Common
Cost: 5 recruits
Brigand
Select a card from opponent's hand
If a common: Discard card
Else: You gain 50% of the cost of that card (max of 3 per resource)

Flying the Jolly Rodger
Common
cost: 2 gems, 2 recruits
Next card received will be a brigand
If # Brigands in your hand > 3, enemy stock -1, your stock +1

Corsairs
Uncommon
Cost: Gems 12
Brigand, Quick
enemy stock: -enemy production last turn
stock :+ enemy production last turn

...And A Bottle Of Rum
Uncommon
Cost: 5/5/5
Upgrades the rarity of one Brigand in your hand, chosen randomly

Scourge of the Seas
Rare
Cost: 15 Recruits 10 Gems
Brigand
Attack 15
Enemy Gems: -50
You gain half of the gems lost

@ Loki
Tubular bells Gives you +3 Facility's usually for free. The conditional downside can easily be avoided (in some cases is still worth it, but that is a different matter).

With Balance you have some additional price to pay by means of the risk getting your hands filled with cards not really useful to you like Necromancy amplifier, Draft, Eternal flame, Mountain sentry etc.

So if you think 2 facility's for zero resources are given to cheap this way, you must love a card like Tubular bells.

I like the idea of more Brigand cards.

[response to deleted post]
you got that card wrong.
it says +2 to both players facilities and destroys both players stock.

And your post doesn't belong here. This thread is about new card suggestions, not about the balance of existing ones.

Hungry minion
(7G 4R, uncommon)
(Undead, Brigand)
Attack N
Steals 12-N resources
N = # of enemy facility's

Blind Minotaur (Beast, Uncommon)
(20 recruits 10 bricks)
Mode 1: Attack 15 on both yourself and opponement
Mode 2: Attack 30 on both yourself and opponement
Mode 3: Attack 45 on both yourself and opponement
Mode 4: Attack 60 on both yourself and opponement

Comments: The cost is high, and the dammage are done to both players, but the ability to select the exact dammage can be handy. so if opponement has 55 tower left and u have 65 left, game is won

Castle Canon (uncommon, Soldier)
Cost 20 bricks 15 recruits
If tower > ennemy tower and wall < ennemy wall
Ennemy tower = Wall
ennemy wall = wall

Comments: The canon inside the castle shoots down the ennemy tower, depending on the wall's height

Jesus (Rare, Holy)
Durable
Cost 5 gems
Tower +2
Wall +2
Stock +3

Comments: Short term, this card doesnt do much, but the durable attribute make it good long term

Reserve (Common)
Free
If ennemy recruit > recruit
and Bricks > ennemy bricks
and Magic = ennemy magic
recruits +6
else
recruit +1

Comments: very tough conditions but nice reward
DPsycho on 07:41, 15. Feb, 2009
RE: Blind Minotaur
Interesting idea. I assume the Beast effect for a chance at extra damage would still only affect the opponent.

RE: Castle Canon
It should be "cannon." (Also, "enemy") As it stands, this card is far too powerful. It would be an instant destruction victory if you have zero wall!

RE: Jesus
I'm personally not comfortable with the idea of a card named after Christ. Maybe "Messiah" would be better? Sounds like a good card, though. I'd certainly banish it from an opponent's hand.

RE: Reserve
I'm not sure this would ever be a popular card without an "else" effect. As a Common, it would likely fill a hand while the condition is not met. Would make Danai Gift even more interesting, though.
Xenogeist on 08:26, 15. Feb, 2009
The Jesus card inspired me to try my own joke version, although looking at it it might actually be an interesting card to have in resource production decks.

Zombie Jesus (Rare)
Undead, Durable, Charge (3)
Cost: 3 All
Production X 3
Wall: -3
Tower: -3
If Zombie Jesus is discarded it returns to your hand in 3 turns.

Edit: added the charge so it'll be easier to discard, plus you need to keep your walls up to keep out the zombie horde!
Perfection on 19:32, 15. Feb, 2009
yea canon might be too powerfull

i added an else condition to the reserve card

Zombie jesus should have 1 attack for the charge thing to take effect. and i think your come back thingy is not possible

here is a new Idea inspired of xeno's zombie jesus thing

Vulnerability (Uncommon, soldier, charge)
Durable
Cost 10 recruits
Attack 5 (charge 8)
Recruits + N
N= Recruit cost of last card played by opponement

Comments: fairly nice card but also very easy to discard

Training facility (Common)
Cost 8 bricks 5 gems
Tower +2
Select a card from hand. Ugrade its rarity. only works on keyword cards

Comments: A bit like necromancy amplifier.... also gives a card from the same type (if you ugrade an uncommon dragon, u get a rare dragon)

Perfection on 05:41, 17. Feb, 2009
Conscription (Uncommon)
Cost 5 gems 5 recruits
Select a card to discard from hand
Attack recruit cost of selected hand

Colonialism (Common)
Cost 2 gems 2 bricks
If recruits < 10
Recruits doubles
Else
Recruits +5

Comment: this card can be nice when your low on recruits, but its pretty bad once you have a lot of them

Undead Beast (Uncommon, beast, undead)
Cost 15 gems 15 recruits
Attack Z*5
Stock + Z
Z= N*X
N = number of beast cards in hand
X = number of undead cards in hand
