So where are these awards all i can locate is Achievments but there are no Survivor or Gentle touch i was hearing about

When you gain each achievement, you receive the applicable award in your messages. It's usually a pile of bonus gold.

You can find the achievements in the help section under "Player rating system". They are bonuses you gain at the end oc a game for special victory conditions
