Seriously how can you say Angel of Destruction > Tornado?

Angel of Destruction takes away your own resources too, not exactly ideal when you aim for resource victory

Tornado can kill all my resources, say 300 in total! Darn, how is that not a good card?

Mana burn is pure awsome and is one of the most feared card by me when I go for resource victory because it can burn away all my mana and prevent me from winning! If you didn't even know how mana burn really works maybe you should at least use it once before you make an actual comment

Tornado & Mana burn are good against player who save up resources to use big cards

Sylonus, agree. I missed the fact it can destroy enemy gems. BTW we can't control what is drawn after quick/swift so the surprise relies on pure luck. It's a rare so the chance of such a combo is small.
Manaburn is okay but hardly the best.

garbageonly, Angel of Destruction sucks in Res accumulator eye. But I think resource accumulation victory is close to titan victory (in that both are darn difficult). My concerns are destruction/construction victory. If you see resource accumulation a threat, they are okay. AoD is better: (1) it's attack card; (2) my resource pile is usually (much) lower than my enemy's after playing the card (3) it can still crush resource accumulators.

IMO, rushing is a better way to defeat res accumulators & players who like to save up for expensive cards.

Note: The new change should help (haven't investigated much yet). But does it make resource accumulation victory really practical? I still see the resource destruction cards too much of a threat.

After all the discussion exhibits the beauty of card game. Different people see different things and give different values on different cards (although the choices could be wrong). Hardly anyone builds identical card decks.

By evaluating 'worst' card, I don't think anyone should exclude a card's use in any condition.
A 'worst' card should be the one that is useless for all kind of winning condition include destruction, tower building, resource gathering, titan summoning.
If you only aim for resource gathering (not kill opponent nor build your tower to 100), Angel of Destruction's 30 attack point doesn't make the card any better if not worst than Tornado

Strictly speaking, hardly any card has absolutely no use in ANY situation.

Extremely speaking cards like Volunteer and Wealth can be useful. For example, if you have no resource at all, you can still use Volunteer to launch attack. If you are in emergency, Wealth helps to boost your stock (even though your enemy gains more).

If you agree that resource accumulation is more difficult than destruction/construction, why try to win the hard way? If there are better options available, why not pick a better one? These are what make those cards practically useless.

But if you think resource accumulation is competitive (it may be more competitive now, unsure), then they would be okay.

BTW they are classified as "very bad", not "the worst".
