I will admit. I am a total noob over here at this game. My friend and I picked it up in our time of absolute boredom. However, we have one question. Is there a reason as to why we can view the opponents cards? We feel it takes out the air of mystery.

You may find it a little bit strange, but it has some advantages. It allows players to strategize more, thus making the game a bit deeper. This game is not an Arcomage clone, it's only inspired by the game, so you will find many differences in time.

Just try it out, I'm sure you'll learn it very quickly ;-)

It does an add a bit of strategy to the game.

Any plans for making it an option in the future though?

Unlikely, since there are many cards that would become useless.
