Without shuffling the hand, the effect of hiding revealed cards encourages having to click back through game history to see what and where things are, an obnoxious outcome. It does grant the benefit of denying the secondary Far sight effect and cards that count revealed cards as part of their effect, but if you're going to hiding cards, you may as well shuffle them.
It's worth noting that, as I understand it, hiding revealed cards is going to require that they be discarded and redrawn, so this would end up benefiting any card that counts #discarded or #new as part of their effects. Correct me if this is no longer the case.
