Here is a snapshot of my working draft on the Easter update balance changes. I'm posting it now, because most probably, I won't have time to work on it for a few weeks. Feedback is appreciated ;-)

Well, I like it a lot :)
Especially War elephant with Frenzy. Not so effective against high wall, but much more useful overall.

I really like the new War Elephant too. It now has basically 4 modes (when not considering beast keyword):

1 - no frenzy effect, no soldier effect -> 35 attack for 38 recruits
2 - frenzy effect, no soldier effect -> 73 attack for 38 recruits
3 - no frenzy effect, soldier effect -> 35 attack for 19 recruits
4 - frenzy effect, soldier effect -> 73 attack for 19 recruits

I wonder if this card isn't too strong in this form.

I don't think so. It's much harder to achieve than 62 attack from old Wolf raiders. Beast and Soldier keywords don't have enough synergy, because both need recruits AND enough cards in hand. It's not like Holy and Soldier with so many supportive cards and cards with both keywords.

they're all nice changes. I still have some doubts about alchemist, maybe it should also summon a restoration

I propose Amazon to have reversed effects:

if enemy wall > 30 enemy wall: -10
Always: attack 7.

As it is now the -10 wall happens when wall > 37.

I actually like Northern Archer as is. Generally, I'm not a fan of cards that only reduce enemy's tower...

I on the other hand quite liked Amazon's tower reduction effect. It set it aside from the other Barbarian cards.

But if that is not an option, I would agree with Dimitris to do the wall reduction before the attack.

I really appreciate these changes ,althought I don't like the change of Road to Tartarus, mainly i want most of the time the portal to be summoned on the space where the prior road was, to have space for emergency cards or utility cards like titan's workshipper etc. . With the change, this isn't possible, since you cannot chose the card itself to be replaced with tartarus gate, since this would cause the standart draw to override the replacing. i would like to change th text to:

If trageting self, summons Tartarus gate, else replace a card in hand with Tartarus gate.

Or is it intendet to be a nerf?

I don't think that the standard draw will override the card effect. It similar to persistent: you can chose the same position in wich the card is.

If you look at a similar card effect like Athoria you can see in the card code something like this:

if ($mode == $cardpos) $nextcard = 0;

This means: in case you choose the card position, override the standard draw. I hope this answers your question.

Not sure if this is the appropriate place, but since we're discussing balance changes, I want to propose we beef up the Alliance keyword. Alliance has never been that useful of a keyword as both Holy and Restoration cards tend to generate stock much quicker.

I suggest we change the keyword effect based on the type of card played to flip the keyword to Production x2 (common), x3 (uncommon), and x4 (rare). Thoughts?

I believe that Alliance has the only problem that it lacks support cards now. Right now, holy/soldier got like undead tons of support cards/summoners, while the only support of alliance is to empower the effect of the keyword trigger. The only summoner is ranger, and all other cards have no synergy with other alliance cards (except elven rogue and elven market, while second ones synergy is not worth to be considered). With the runic, alliance lost all its support cards (Mountain king, dwarven fortress/fortification, dwarwen watchtower) and its defensive abilitys. Right now, their only powerfull offensive/defensive cards are ent and elven warlock, all other cards are just production increaseing ones or stock gainers, which are not as powerfull as the holy ones , or the restoration ones(except the rare ones).
(Its not that restoration is overpowered, just that alliance is underpowered)

I believe that changing the keyword is not the right decission, alliance really needs new defensive and offensive cards, mainly keyword-supportive ones.

Production x9 from Stilshrine and recruits production x40 from Darkforge? I don't think it's good idea.
Alliance lost its effectiveness because of that split on Alliance and Runic. Chaos dwarf, Mithril miner, Mountain sentry, Dwarven forge, Dwarven elder and Mountain king were VERY important for Alliance. Especially Chaos dwarf and Mountain sentry. Alliance is very hand-dependent keyword (you need 7 Alliance cards to trigger keyword every 3 turns), and now Alliance has pretty weak cards compared with Holy/Soldier, Undead, Unliving and Restoration.
I agree wih Lord Earthfire. Alliance doesn't need keyword change, it needs better cardset.

Finally I had some free time to work on the balance changes :). Here is an updated draft for the Easter update. I would like to highlight changes on Beastmaster, Evolution and Crystal golem. Feedback is much appreciated.
