Conjurer is the only Mage on hand, but since it gets a new position it is counted as another Mage for token production. (Will proly applie too for Fallen knight, too.)

Well, yeah. It's becuase the card effects precedes the keyword side-effects. A new Conjurer is added to the hand via the card effect, so it is there when keyword side-effects evaluates.
