Really? I feel like the opposite is true. Card turnover is one of the most valuable resources in the game. That's why a seemingly crummy card like Militia is so powerful (and popular). Durable cards give up the chance to draw new cards, which is a great cost, since it leads to a stagnant hand. When you play a normal common card, you get to replace it with a new card which is at least as powerful as the card you played, and possibly an uncommon or rare.
