Replace up to 2 enemy New cards with Messenger
If enemy has <3 Messengers - stay on hand


This card has a serious flaw. If played when your opponent has fewer than 3 new cards, you can play this card indefinitely due to it being Quick and effectively Durable. As such, the player need only wait until he is in an advantageous position and then play this card until the game clock runs out and forces his win (an event that is coded into the game but, as far as I know, has yet to occur).

Can be fixed by having no effect when New.

Gosh, you are right. I reworked and reworked and reworked this concept for lesser words, and did not see that flaw.

Aha, being new won't cut it, because if you have 2 troubling on hand - you can still abuse.
I'll just drop the quick.
That way card does not get overused every turn.

Having two on hand but played in the same turn (due to Quick) would keep them both as New, actually.

Actually, playing a Quick card does not increase the round counter. Still a Durable Quick card wouldn't be a very good idea.

When you have unready ambush in hand, and play quickie , you can fasten the use of ambush.I've used that move a lot. I've just playtested that to be sure.
