Looking at the dates on the forum posts, it looks like you gave a warning on the 29th. Loki reported the very next day that he and G were still playing their match. There was no mention at all of anyone needing to post that they had begun a match until Sundancer suggested it on the 29th.
Before then, the only rules and regulations regarding posting were that the results had to be submitted as a screenshot. This was changed on the 17th to allow for a text post instead, but still, you were only asking for results of matches, not post that matches had begun or were underway.
You asked on the 18th for players to let you know in the forum if they can only play certain days. On the 19th, you discussed players who never appeared to play, but said nothing about making a post to the forum.
Also on the 19th, garbageonly suggested you not disqualify people as quickly as you were.
On the 22nd, you gave a one-day warning to those who "didn't show from the begining." Some responded. One appeared too late and accepted it.
On the 27th, you stated you were sorry for being busy. You asked people to "reclaim your opponents." I still don't know what that means exactly, but I assumed it meant to try and contact them if they hadn't played?
On that same day, Loki asked to see the brackets. The next day, the 28th, you apologized for being away and suggested that it was then updated.
What I'm trying to assert here is that you imposed a new rule and penalized people for not following it all at the same time. There was no warning "a long time ago" about failing to report that a match had begun. You should let them finish their game and let the tournament continue based upon its results. Anything else is unfair to all involved, even if you did jump the gun and assign new challenges prematurely.
