This card does not count triple cost cards as such.
For example if enemy has Firewall with 36 gems and Crystal cave with 15 triple cost, it discards FIrewall although Crystal cave has 45 resources in total.

Samurai would never discard Crystal cavern. Crystal cavern does not have a keyword, so it's not a valid target for discard.
