This is interesting because it's a new idea; but it's too weak to put it in a deck.
I propose a radical change:
uncommon
cost: 8r
Attack: 7
next card will be an uncommon from your deck
If new and last played card was Desperate strike
attack: 13

Hm, I like the change but it's still too weak.

7 damage for an uncommon 8R? With being uncommon the chances of drawing another one are hugely reduced.
Perhaps if the bonus damage was upped to 23 or perhaps more, that could work.

On the whole, good feedback. I prefer your wording for the card.

Not so. His suggestion, as well as making the card Uncommon, included always drawing an Uncommon from your deck. Influencing the draw that way would more than make up for the low damage/cost ratio, and you're given a 1/15 chance to draw it again and set up the condition, and you'll still draw a useful Uncommon after that one. I thought the suggestion was sound.

I like it now. It would be useful in most decks that don't rely on recruits as well as keywordless decks. I'd use it.
