Tower damage decks can be countered more effectively than other rush decks. And raising initial wall does also help against Tower damage as well, because it's easier to satisfy condition for Lookout towers and Citadel towers.

Either raise by 4/6 or 6/8, but don't make starting wall and tower the same height.

Why? I definitely don't want to have higher wall than tower.

Because of old combination of Lookout towers and Reinforced gate. Now Reinforced gate is already inferior to Dwarven wall, and with tower and wall of same height these cards will loose almost all their effectiveness.
