I feel the Purified Ashes/Priest/Cleansing combo is VERY underpowered.
The main reason is this:
In order to actually use it, 1.) Your opponent needs Undead in his deck (and in order to make it effective, it needs to be a LOT of Undead) 2.), you have to get 2 separate cards in your hand, 3.) Priest is a Durable common card that has no use unless you've played an effective Cleansing, so by inserting it into your deck, especially if your opponent has no Undead, you will very frequently have to discard Priest, wasting a turn.

All of these are the negatives. And for all that work, the only benefit you get is 3 bricks 2 gems, 2 recruits, also, you give your opponent a free discard (getting rid of a card that's useless to him, instead of making him discard it) AND, you don't get a new card the next turn, so even if you pull off an effective Priest, you'll still need to spend a turn to discard it after you've cleared out your opponents Purified Ashes.

Now, here are my fixes for this card combo:

For Cleansing, Add: "Your next card will be Priest" and make it Uncommon

For Priest, remove Durable, change the effect to "Discards all Purified Ashes from opponents hand, stock +2 for each card discarded in this way."

This may be a little powerful, but right now, it's COMPLETELY useless.

I'd be in favor of this. Cleansing shows up a little too often as a Common card, anyways.

An alternative would be to roll them both into one card with two modes. I haven't used these cards enough myself to think through the specifics, however.

AGREE!! this combo is a totaly waste of time and cards

i agree to the changes or at least make priest a litle more usefull like ... eee... +5 tower

One card with two modes would be either...

1: FAR too powerful if it's still durable; as you can continually eliminate any undead card that exists anywhere ever with minimal effort, AND reap the rewards of doing so.

2: Useless if it's not, as there's no guarantee that you'll get it again to reap the benefits.

The mode suggested would work far better; when the uncommon cleansing comes up, you can use it as normal, then use Priest to reap the rewards, and that's the end of it... which makes far more sense then either the current version or the two-mode alternative.

mmm good point about the durable....

but i still thinking that to make it not completly useless in almost all games, it could give something like +2 tower or +1 stock...
