This card is consistently in the bottom 5 most played commons. How can we buff it?

Hmm... I know! Make Wind, Militia, Halfling Rogue, Renewal and Necromancy quick again!

Agree :)

the quick nerf made a lot of sense, i suggest letting it have some effect that doesn't require it to be played right after quick/swift cards but rather punish people that have them in their hand? It's main use was to counter quick commons which is now none existent.

suggestion: discards all none rare quick/swift cards from both hands.
dindon on 02:41, 25. Nov, 2010
That would be pretty ineffective, because:
a) There aren't a lot of non-rare quicks and swifts
b) When someone draws them, they don't tend to stay in their hand for long. And especially, if you see your opponent has Don't Be Hasty, you're going to play all of your quick/swift cards as soon as you can get them. So the chance for such an effect to do much is low.
Alternative explanation: look at the popularity of Lancer.

As for the quick nerf being necessary: even if all quick commons were OP (there weren't), there are better ways of nerfing them than removing quick from all of them. It's not like all quick commons are inherently overpowered (the new poison frog quick common shows that) - if you have to nerf them, I think most would have preferred tweaks to the costs or side effects.

It's sad that a card like Wind has gone from being one of the most interesting cards in the game to one of the most boring (and useless).

I agree about quick commons, especially Militia and Renewal.

Maybe they should be reverted to their previous versions and new cards that counter Quick (like Don't be hasty) could be introduced?

Wind, Militia, Renewal and Magic Portal. Not Halfling Rogue and definitely not reworked Necromancy.
Fithz Hood on 11:47, 25. Nov, 2010
militia and magic portal can survive without quick keyword.
wind and renewal are useless: wind is just a malus card that you give to your opponent;
magic portal is ten times better than renewal right now.
and let's give quick to lady ellena.

I agree to that... the main problem is, there are normally no swift/quicks in opponents hand, as they are played *quick* ;-)
why not use it like a "counter":
If opponent has played swift or quick last turn, for each of this cards: -3 stock.

I'd love to have this as counter against pegasus one of the most loved cards in game :-)
Not only in ressource-crippling decks, this card would be quite interesting, I think :-)

mah hate to click quote instead of edit o__O

How about changing the effect to:
If opponent played more than one Quick or Swift last round
Enemy highest facility: -1 for each card played after first.

Makes it more interesting, although this case happens the rarest of times

Or add stock stealing

So, what do you think about this card? It seems it's pretty highly used. Which mode do you prefer when playing this card?
dimitris on 11:23, 13. Jan, 2012
It's a very good card now. Please don't nerf it :P
Both modes are equally good depending on situation. I usually play the second.
NG_Beholder on 06:57, 27. Jan, 2012
I think that -7R for 1R is too freaking much. This card should cost more - 8R, I guess.
