jbryant, Noak is not suggesting that the Far sight effect occur before the card effect. He's suggesting that, when it comes time to perform keyword effects (
Step 3), Far sight occurs before the other keywords. That way, playing a
Far sight Mage would have the Far sight effect add tokens (or wall or stock or tower) before the Mage keyword adds its tokens.
Not a bad suggestion, but it's worth noting that it can be used to your advantage as it is now as well. If I wait to play an
Uncommon Far sight Alliance until the Alliance tokens are 83+ (or lower if others are on hand), then I'll hit 100, gain the effect, and THEN gain 30 due to Far sight. In this case, those 30 would have been lost had Far sight happened first.
I'm rather used to it as it is now, to be honest, but I'd like to hear others' opinions on the matter.
